“Mixed experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 February 2011

The hotel is very well located, everything is just nearby. We stayed in a quad-room and it was big enough for the four of us. Very nice bathroom, big and clean. The extra bed was broken and not suited for adults. We found a contact-lense underneath the bed - and none of us uses contacts...... The staff was friendly enough, but they are really out to get your money! When we cheked out and had to pay for our four nights, the woman at the desk insisted that our reservation did not include breakfast and wanted money for that - although that was not the case. And if the hotel staff calls for a taxi to the airport, it costs 52 euros. We chose to walk 1 minute to the nearest piazza, where the taxi was 40 euros.

“Very well located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2011

This hotel is very well located, from here you can walk almost everywhere in Rome.
Hotel has a very clean room with antique taste, staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was also good.
The only one draw back is that the wall is a little thin and you can hear voices from other rooms.

“Fab location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2010

The location of the hotel is great .The room was small but clean and the breakfast was adequate light sleepers may have a problem as the noise from other rooms could be be heard. This is a basic Hotel for people who want to rest their weary heads after a hard day sightseeing .It was fine for us but if you are after something special look elsewhere .

“DANK Noisy, Yuk”

How disappointing! We flew from Australia and our first night in Rome was in this hole. I sat down on the sofa bed that sank in the middle and cried. Had i planned the trip of a lifetime at this standard? The room smelt mouldy; was too noisy when you opened a window for air; was very dark and the staff were not at all helpful, to the point that we left the place for breakfast even though breakfast was included in our room. The bath/shower water went over the floor but there was no drain hole so it just sat there.
The one good thing was the location, we walked across the road and down a bit to a very nice hotel that was only the slightest bit dearer and even better located.

“great location , opposite site of audrey hepurn ' residence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2010

My wife and I stayed for 3nights after getting off a cruise. We couldn't be happier with the accomodations. We had a deluxe room which is like a suite. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and made some advance reservations for us to museums and restaurants.
The location, right in front of barberini Palace ( in the movie roman holidays audrey hepurn stayed there, was perfect.
I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, friendly
