We had read reviews on TripAdvisor to avoid the annex, so we did. We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was gorgeous. It was newly renovated, and HUGE. It had a beautiful bathroom, heated towel rack and huge shower.

The front desk service was great. They served a very good breakfast. The room was a little crowded but we were able to find a table each morning.

The hotel is in great location in Rome, close to Termini (less than 10 minute walk).

We paid cash and received a 8% discount because of this. Make sure to ask about this or the Rick Steve's discount.

We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Honest hotel. Value for money. Good sized rooms. Clean, warm and comfortable. Free strong wi-fi in the rooms. The staff were polite and helpful, ready to solve every issue. Walking distance to all main atractions. Just 2 minutes walk from metro stations (Republica and Termini) and bus stop (40 and 64 to all major sights). The breakfast was ok. Don't be disappointed from the entrance and the reception. The rooms are on 3rd and 4th floor and are renovated. Recommended for anyone traveling on budget .

Would like to thank Ivan at the front desk for all his help during my stay, which was unfortunately curtailed due to mechanical problems beyond night staff's control. I did feel that the people, especially Ivan, were courteous, friendly and helpful, showering me with guidebooks and capuccino. The location is not bad, especially during January sales, .... and it only takes a day or two to get one's bearings and learn the layout of Roma. Fontana di Trevi, Plaza Espagna and Campo de Fiori are all fairly close. Great rates too, I should add. Grazie, Ivan for your grand good cheer which improved my trip in so many ways!!!
