“Loved this hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Located in a side street opposite the train station and bus terminus which was also where the Terravision bus drops and picks up from both of Romes airports. The train station was a good place to eat with lots of different cafe/restaurants, most very reasonable. Thirty minutes walk to Colosseum and Trevi fountain in opposite direction. Reception and dining room staff all very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast available from 7-10am, plentiful and good selection of hot and cold foods and drinks. Hotel nice and warm and spotlessly clean. Room was small but very nice with every thing we required including air conditioning/heating, bathroom with good shower and hair dryer, and a lovely terrace which was an unexpected bonus, even though we were out all the time and didn't get the chance to use it. Would definately return to the Hotel Rimini.

“Nice clean place, 100m from Main Railway station, best breakfast coffee”

Clean, handy to the main railway station which also gives you access to the metro.... and therefore access to all parts of Rome. Staff speak good english and were always helpful. Laundromat about 400m away. Nice little bars very close by and a few tourist restaurants. The rooms are ok to good but dont expect too many frills.... its comfortable and very well located. I think its good value for money and i've stayed here twice. The lift is small but it adds to the charm of the place. Breakfast was very good and the coffee, made by an elderly gentleman, was some of the best i have had anywhere in the world

Room Tip: The rooms on the top are smaller but all have balcony's. Lower rooms are bigger but don't ha...

“One star for this hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

The only thing good about this hotel is that it is close to the station. The room smelt so bad of cigarettes we asked to be moved to a non smoking room apparently there are no non smoking rooms because in Rome you can smoke where ever you want! We moved to a room which was a little better but still felt like we had smoked a packet of cigarettes after we woke up.
The shower head in the bath room wasn't even attached to the wall so you had to hold it while attempting to shower which included flooding the bathroom every time.
I have no idea how this is classed as a three star hotel.
We ended up losing our two nights accommodation and moving hotels as we couldn't bare breathing in tobacco fumes any longer!! Oh and we may as well have slept on the floor the beds are so hard - not to mention 2 single beds pushed together.

“Convenient location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011 via mobile

So close to termini train station, this hotel is great if you are transiting rome and need to catch train. The room we stayed in was small and bathroom was tiny but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. Lots of restaurants nearby.

We stayed 3 nights at Rimini and were very happy with everything. Our room was spacious, with a balcony which was lovely. Staff were friendly and very helpful, free breakfast and wifi. Such close promiximity to the railway station was also fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for room with balcony
