Poor hotel. Nice staff and great location but bed bugs ruined it for us. No atmosphere as no bar or common area.

Location is great and rest is down hill from there. I was booked in the parent company hotel, Antico Palazzo and prepaid. On arrival my room was given to someone else and I was downgraded to this dump of a 3 star. Double room was so small I have been in walk in closets with more room

Certainly not worth the money. Cramped dark room (even on sunny days) made us dread returning to the hotel, I've paid a lot less for far better accomodation in a hostel. Sliding bathroom door stopped sliding leaving us in a room without a toilet in the middle of the night, Bedspread had copious amounts of a sticky substance on it. Reception area doubles as dining area and staff were not at all welcoming.

We booked this hotel from its website it looked very nice. As soon as we arrvied i knew we had been fooled the foyee of the hotel doubles as the dining area. Our room was tiny and cramped after the second night the air con stopped working and we could not leave the window open because of noise . They kept promising to fix it but to no avail hence the title "the hole" where prisoners who break prison rules are sent.
