“Very helpful!”

We stayed here on a three night trip to Rome. The hotel is a a four stop tram ride away from the city centre and we loved this aspect as it meant we got so see the "real" part of the city apart from all the other tourists. The hotels reception staff are VERY HELPFUL and went out of their way to help us in planning our days out. Breakfast is good and have good variety to full up on before heading out to explore Rome. Would love to go back to this wonderful city and would stay here time and time again.

“Quaint, clean, affordable comfort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

We are glad we met Alessio who is such a great help, as all the rest of staff. They made us feel at home.
The tram wasn't working when we were there which proved a problem at night.
I miss Rome.

“Quaint Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

This hotel was out of the way.Far from the city center but short walking distance to the tram.Hotel was very clean with nice spacious bathroom although the rooms were much smaller. It was very quiet during the night .Breakfast buffet was good with lots of varied choices. The night time receptionist named Alessio was very helpful. He made extra effort in helping us with our reservations for our shuttle to Civitavecchia where the day receptionist didn't want to be bothered helping us.Very stern and methodical, won't deviate from her script.Overall it was a good place for the price. We will stay here again if we visit Rome again.

“A hidden gem!”

Booked this 4 star hotel after much research , it is in a quiet location but offers easy access to the main sites on the No 2 tram which stops at Piazza De Popolo- the hotel offers a welcome retreat from the crowds of central Rome - we like to walk so did walk to the Vatican and the Colosseum from here but the tram is quicker! the staff were very friendly Katarina on reception offered retaurant recommendations and Pasquale was a great help and good fun! Local restaurants offered excellent food at a non tourist price and were buzzing with locals which added to the charm- a great nights sleep every night as there was no noise! Rooms were spotless and offered all that ws needed - a cute bar and breakfast room - this may not be central Rome but don't be put off we had an amazing visit and loved every second!

“Abysmal customer care”

We booked this hotel 3 months in advance only to arrive on the night of the presumed reservation to be told that our rooms were given to other patrons. The receptionist could only offer that the 'mistake' was only noted that morning and that they could not offer other than another hotel which was of lesser quality and six km out of the city centre. No explanation, no apologies, no compensation for this extra trouble they gave us. My advise is do not trust this hotel.
