“Good location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

This hotel is in a good location and is comfortable. The metro is only a few minutes away with the Colosseum and Forum another 5 from there.
Breakfast is more than adequate so long as one does not expect a fry up!
We shared a mini-cab from the airport which took us directly to the hotel (35 euros), however Italian driving leaves a lot to be desired!
All in all a good location to explore a fascinating city.

“roof top nice same about lifts!!!!!!!”

nice hotel altho very hard to find the first time you get there.we got the train from the airport and got a taxi from the train station to the hotel. I warn people do not use the cabs that are outside the station you are much better off walking down abit and stoping one that drives passed as we paid 30 euros to get to the hotel, which when walking about the next day found was about a 3 min walk from the station! we then got a taxi from the hotel to the airport on way home which cost 20 euros and was about 45mins away. The hotel was in good location but slightly off main road so was quite at night but very close to the train station which was so easy to use.The room was ok clean not the most modern but nice all the same.roof top was lovley view over the city.altho on our stay we got stuck in the lift and only got out due to us having to pull open the door.we rung the bell for help and well what can i say help was not what we recieved. The man just shouted at us press the open door button(shame we didnt think of that eh)and all we heard after that was tutting then was told it must have been us pressing the buttons, now if you can press the number 3 in a lift with out it breaking think there might be something wrong.was later told was a electric problem or something unrelated to the button 3!!!!!!the staff were ok couple was nice but to be honest when you go to rome you will find that everyone is so rude from people walking passed to people in reasturants so staff seemed quite nice.breakfast was ok usual cold meats and cheese. all in all was a average hotel.

Dear Client,

I am sorry to read that you had problems with the taxi drivers.
Unfortunately there is always somebody not honest, in every city of the world.
I would suggest, for the future,to read in our official website how to reach the hotel from the train station. It's well explained, you will discover that it's very easy.
I am again sorry for the trouble you had on the elevator, I was not there on that moment, but I suppose the staff made everything to let it work again.By the way, I would like to inform you that since the 9 february 2012 the hotel provided itself of a new and faster elevator.

I hope you will travel again in Rome, I am sure you will have a better impressio of the people and of our hotel.

Kind Regards
Stefano Ricci

“Nice rooftop view”

This hotel is in a good location and is comfortable; a good value for the budget concious! There is a lovely rooftop that you can go up and view the city as well as the Vatican. Check-in is at 2 PM and don't try to squeeze in a few minutes early--you must wait until 2:00! Same thing for breakfast; doors open at 7:30 and not a minute early. Concierge is very helpful and will share tips on where to eat; call you a cab, etc. The place is not real well known to cab drivers but we found that using the Santa Maria Maggoire as a point of reference was very helpful to them. We found good Italian food within walking distance and were able to walk to the Colosseum easily. Breakfast is included in your room rate and is typical for a European hotel....pastries, yogurt, fruit, cold cuts, cereal, granola, etc. The coffee was a bit strong for me but is standard for Europe's tastes.

Room Tip: Elevator is very tiny and slow! If you don't like the wait, stay on the second floor and walk u...

Dar Client,

thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed our rooftop.
The check-in is correct is at 2pm, but if the rooms are ready before we usually give the possibility
to get the room in advance. On the other side, if the hotel is full booked since the day before became difficult to prepare the rooms before the check-in time.
Same for the breakfast room, it starts from 7.30 am. but if clients need to leave early and need to make breakfast earlier we never refused.Have to say that in al this year we never had "lost clients" coming here with taxi.Never had to rescue them.

I hope to welcome you again in our hotel.

Kind Regards
Stefano Ricci

“Avoid”

Stayed one night while on vacation in Rome. The room is small and the beds are old. Definitely counted a few bed bugs at this hotel. Luckily I only stayed one night. The hotel needs to correct this problem so that travelers do not pick up this infestation. Avoid at all costs.

“Decent”

The location was good, near the metro, used the Santa Maria Moss..etc church near by to find our way back to the hotel which was helpful. The brekkie wasnt the best but it filled the gap. we made the mistake of eating near by, you Need to venture away from the area to find good cafes and restaurants.

Dear Client,

thank you for writing your review.
It's a pity that you didn't had a good lunch or dinner nearby, because around the hotel is full
of good restaurants and cafè.I personally go there during my lunch time.
I would suggest to everybody to ask at our staff suggestions for restaurants.
They are from Rome,so they can advise you better than anyone.
In every city you can find good and bad restaurants, so it's always better to ask.
I think.

I any case I am glad you had a pleasent stay with us, and hope to welcome you again in Rome.

Kind Regards
Stefano Ricci
