i'm a little late on reviewing this hotel, but feel it deserves to be noted, this was our second stay at the romo, for 2 nights, as platinium spg members we were upgraded to a highter suite, unfortunately we faced the park where nightly concerts were held so was quite noisey,
on our first stay we faced the pool and was completely noise free, the hotel changed our room to a corner suite which was a vast improvement,the spg club was great for morning breakfast and evening snacks and drinks complimary of course. The hotel was a little ways out but supplied a shuttle to the city and the airport cheaply,
we did travel to the city by taxi costing 40 euro plus tip, i was shocked as i was told by reception that this trip would cost about 15 euro...on my way back fro city to hotel i noted that the taxi driver drove up and down the same streets zig zaged and generally tried to keep me confused. i took out my city map and confronted him as we drove, 40 mins later on a 10 min taxi ride we arrived back at the romo hotel, and was only charged 14 euro,,,and i refused to tip the driver...felt that riping off tourists is an acceptable way of life in Rome
We were very happy with the service the hotel provided us and would certainly return again,,,

When in Rome, the Roma HOtel by SHeraton was pretty nice. After being in small, i mean tiny hotels in venice and florence with no A/C, the Sheraton Roma was quite the palace. Great pool, and pool bar. Good Food and great rooms, with very nice beds and the AC is cold ! It was a little out of the way from all the touist attractions, but a 8 minute walk to the train station got us into THE CENTER OF ROME IN JUST A FEW MINUTES... for the price, well worth it ! Thanks Sheraton !

for a 3thee days holiday trip i visited rome and venice.i had been stayed in sheraton roma ,a well styled hotel of europe.a large parking space in an wide open area allows to move vehicle and couches hasselfree. in its broad reception lobby different areas has been allotted for different purpose like internet/business section, sitting lounge, shopping tore, restaurent, confrence hall etc.with a superb reception desk.in the hotel u can enjoy gym, swiming,port, bar, club,saloon etc.a great view could b found from the upper stories of the hotel.It is very easy to approach anywhere from the hotel due to its point of location

Booked this Sheraton on Starwoods points for our last night in Italy.

Yes, it is far away from most things in Rome. All we did was spend a nice day at the pool and walked over to La Taverna Del Porto for dinner.

The hotel was under construction at the time, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves.
