I have stayed here twice. May 2009 and December 2011. Professional hospitality. The hotel is cool in early summer and warm in winter. Breakfast offer is diverse and both wholesome and fulsome. Very clean guest rooms and the communal areas were spotless. Complimentary refreshments and pastries are available in the reception's bright lounge area throughout the day. Adjacent to university district - where its energetic students talking on street corners keep the area safe for walkers. Metro a short walk - 5 minute saunter. Main train station less than ten minute walk away. If you are used to walking I recommend using your feet to explore Rome. The reception staff were a little quirky, not creepy, just a bit different. A good clean value for money hotel.

Stayed in June 2011. The hotel is a straight forward business hotel. The breakfast was diverse and plentiful. A very mixed crowd which was nice. A popular hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is right in the midst of the University (La Sapienza). The metro is a good walking distance. It is not as well located to the forum and sights as we wanted. We had to take a taxi or walk to the metro. Would have paid more to be centrally located.

it is a BW so no surprises ... however good location in university district, very quiet at night and not much in the surroundings. 5 minutes walking from metro station.
Rooms are clean and confortable I stayed in 3rd and 5th floor.
I find it full of family and lot of childrens (may be there was some special promo ...) and everybody seems to enjoy the atmosphere.
Breakfast may take longer becuse there are some bottlenecks in the kitchen furniture, similar problems in the restaurant at night due to limited personnel.
In any case the quality of the food and qaulity/price is good (i would say excellent but they add too much salt in the food).
the Staff during the day is professional during the night may be better.

I was in Rome with my wife and son from 9th November 2011 to 14th November 2011. We stayed in BW Hotel Globus. It is an excellent hotel. We have really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Hotel dining Hall at the basement is really superb. The staf are very much cooperative and kind enough. Food was fantastic. I like to come again with my family to Rome and want to stay in this hotel.
