“For your €'s you can get a far better hotel then this!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Why do you want to stay in a hotel in the outskirts of Rome? clean rooms, quiet location and cheaper fares. Well, The Princess is located in a quiet area but you don't get a clean room. The rooms are outdated and if you don't have a car then it is pretty hard to get there. Want to go to the centre of Rome? Bus or a 15 min walk to the nearest underground. You can get a much better hotel for your €'s. The promote themselfes as 4 star. Well, I would rate them 3 star maximum. Staff is very plesant and friendly!

Room Tip: Don't agree a room on the topfloor. That is floor 6. Avoid at all costs!

First time italy. I have hearh a lot about how the hotels in Italy. Thats why my expectations were low for Princess Hotel. The name is quite famious in the world sounds like a chain hotel. But everything in the hotel is average. The room was small and noisy by at least we have plenty of sun in the room. But hotel decoration needs to be rebuilt soon.

“Definitely not a 4 star hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Promoted as a 4 star (or similar) hotel by my travel agency in Stoneham, MA, it was more like a 2 star, old Holiday Inn more suited for a college dorm The rooms were small and stark, the lighting was very dim and the food was terrible. Could not pay the Rome tax with credit card (only cash). Located in a "not so nice area", and far from walking distance to the center of Rome, the people in my group were afraid to go out for an evening stroll.

“Princess Hotel - nothing Royal about it.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

This Hotel wasnt too bad. The Rooms were icy cold, thankfully as it was very Hot in Rome. The aircon was quite noisy and a unit that sat in the window, kind of kept you awake at night. The Hotel Lobby was amazingly nice and cosy. Like sitting in your own loungeroom. Hotel staff were nice. One of the restaurant staff members sometimes made you feel like you were inconvenience to them. overall pretty good.
