We stayed at the Sofitel for 4 nights with the whole family. Our 3 rooms were quiet, well equipped and located close to each other. The hotel is situated on a quiet street close to the Villa Borghese and the main attractions of the city can easily be reached within a few minutes walk. What we most appreciated was the breathtaking view from the restaurant "La Terrasse Cuisine & Lounge" located on the top floor of the building. As we visited Rome during the summer, the weather was nice and warm until late at night and we just couldn't resist to have dinner every night on the terrasse of the hotel just to benefit from that incredible view over the city. The food was very good and the service excellent. Also, the breakfast served downstairs in the old stables is just extraordinary!
We'll certainly book the Sofitel also next time when we are in Rome.

We enjoyed our stay , the restaurant advice from the people on the front desk was top notch, they recommended a pizza restaurant near by and our family all enjoyed it.The location near the top of the Spanish steps but about a 10 minute walk was handy. We used the hotel for our pick up from the train station and drop off at the airport was priced fairly. The rooms were very comfortable and a good size for the price.

We stayed at Sofitel for 4 nights in December and January. The location of the hotel is great! Just few minutes walk from the very city centre, on a very quiet street. The stuff is VERY friendly and helpful!
The rooms are a bit old, especially carpets, but in Rome everything's seems to be quite old! :)
We loved our stay anyway!
