We took my husband's daughter to Rome to start her study abroad program in Jan 2012. (6 days total). The hotel itself was sleek and modern with the Italian flare. The front desk staff spoke english and were all friendly and informative. The spacious room was all marble and the bathroom was heavenly!! The views were great and the US embassy is right across the street. We walked everywhere, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Coloseum, Campo De Fiori, Pantheon, Vatican City, etc. There were LOTS of restaurants to choose from all in easy walking distance. The shops were also close and had GREAT sales while we were there! The taxis were on strike several of the days we were there, so when we had to take my husband's daughter to meet up with her study abroad program people, the hotel thankfully had a car that we were able to use instead of lugging her luggage through all the cobblestone streets. Great hotel, great staff and WONDERFUL TRIP!! Would definitely stay here again!!
