“Maestà, Santità ed Eleganza”

What an elegant hotel and convenient location. Thank God I know personally someone at the concierge desk who manages always to find me a room as this jewel of a hotel is always busy. Being always fascinated by the loftiness of the Vatican City, hotel Giulio Cesare gives me the possibility to visit Saint Peter Square few times during my stay in Rome because of the proximity of the two destinations.

“Lovely Boutique Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Hotel Giulio Cesare is located a short walk from Piazza del Popolo on the other side of the Tiber River in an upscale, quiet neighborhood known as the Prati section of ancient Rome. It is walking distance to all major attractions, the metro is a block away, and we love the added benefit of feeling we are part of a neighborhood during our stay. Close by is the via Cola di Rienzo, which is a lovely shopping avenue filled with wonderful shops and cafes. If you want the "real" Roman experience, try this hotel. Rooms are well cared for and comfortable, and the breakfast is wonderful. I wouldn't stay in any other hotel while in Rome.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a shower. You also get a slightly larger room when you choose twin beds.

“Wonderful rooms and service, great little bar”

A fantastic standard room, with space, views, a bed, a bathroom and in particularly a jacuzzi bath that all were far from "standard". The hotel staff were great; genuinely proud of their hotel and warmly friendly without a hint of pretence. Everything sparkling clean. The breakfast, delivered to the room at short notice, was delicious.Amazing weekend.Yes thank you for your advice Porto di Ripetta Restaurant was very wonderful,

We'll be back. Probably quite a lot!

“Very good.”

Nice clean hotel wih good sized rooms.
Excellent breakfast.
Very quiet for a good night's sleep.
Slighly firm mattress which all of us particularly liked. I do not prefer mattresses that are too soft.
Free and fast Wifi.
Less than 5 min walk to Lepanto Metro station.
Tiber river bank is 2 min away.
15 min walk to Vatican and Piazza del Popolo.

Only one moan - I didn't find any coffee or tea making facilities in my room.

Room Tip: I believe there is an 'annexe' with relatively cheaper and inferior rooms. It would be advi...
