PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! You'll ruin your trip!!!!!

I had made a booking in september 2011 and cancelled it immediately.
The hotel promised to refund one night payment and its been more than 4 months now and they havnt refunded my money.

Our reservations were not maintained and after a long day traveling we were sent to a nearby hotel accompanied by a busboy. The other hotel was noisy at night. The following day we stayed at the Palladium and all was fine. After a cruise, we came back to the same place and we were asked for a credit card "as security". At check out we payed with cash and were charged ten euros more than agreed. We never signed any card payment. I check my AMEX statement and found charges for one night. I complained to the hotel by phone and was answered rudely. I then entered a dispute for the charges with my credit card and after a month the case is still not solved. I do not recommend this place. The location is good but you can find plenty of options at similar or lower prices near Termini Station.

First, why is this rated a 4 star property? it was not even a 3 star hotel. Rooms were small. With luggage bags, hardly any walking space left in the room. Secondly, the breakfast had very limited options. Third, be cautious of security at night. There could be thieves & robbers just outside the hotel. We had one encounter and had to run to save ourselves, and when we complained to the night-duty staff, they said they can't do anything till we get robbed. Next, be ready for lot of honking whole night if your room is on the road.
Good points: Location.

This hotel is near the train station. I arrived late night by train from the airport and having slept the whole way wasn't tired. I asked to use fitness center gym and it was not a problem. I'm not sure why they don't just leave it unlocked. My friend and I slept great on the 2 twins (European hotels don't usually have 2 full or 2 queen size beds), for that I'd give it another point. People watching from the balcony. Plenty of breakfast. Staff helpful. Only issue was that if the bathtub drain wasn't closed, the sewer smell came up - I think a plumber needs to vent the pipe correctly - we kept it covered after the first night.
