Me and my girlfriend booked a room in this Hotel since it was had really good review and mark on booking.com. You cannot see everything on the Internet so we were pretty suprised when we arrived to Via Panisperna and saw the front door of the building which are a ruin! When we got into the Hotel everything changed. Staff was very friendly, rooms and holes clean and nicely equipped.

We instantly got some good advices about wondering around in Rome, places that must be seen and what is the way to see places in this magical city.

Guys working in Hotel are very knowledgeable and I mean very very knowledgeable! We spent most of time with Alessandro who speak 5+ languages perfectly and has really solid knowledge lots of europe country cultures. Really great guy!
We were told where to eat, what Italian foot we should try, what is the easiest way to enter museums and other places and how Rome should be seen and visited.

In general, this was one very nice experience and I would recommend everyone visiting Rome for the first time to stay in this Hotel. It just cannot be mistake!

Must say at the end that location is really perfect!! This place is very near to everything!

I booked here as a surprise for my fiance for his 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and helpful and very knowledgable. They can tell you the best places to go and how to beat the queues! The accomodation itself is very comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for.

When we visited we walked everywhere as the hotel is so well located! only 5-10mins from the Colosseum (my main reason for booking at the time) and perhaps 15-20 to the Spanish steps. There are also some lovely places to eat nearby as well, especially La Mela D'Oro on nearby Via Santa Maria Maggiore!

The room was very comfortable and well equipped and kept immaculate by the housekeeper! All in all it was exactly what we were looking for and I would definately recommend this hotel

Hotel De Monti is perfectly located for everything and anything you might want to see in Rome. Alessandro and his team are knowledgeable and genuine people, who's only interest is that you have a good time. From recommending excellent local restaurants and how to beat the queues at the Vatican to where to find the best of Romes contemporary street art, Alessandro advised us on everything we asked of him, and all with a smile.
We will definitely be returning to Rome and staying at Hotel De Monti. Couldn't rate it more highly.
