“Great hotel”

We had a great stay at this hotel. After getting a bit lost finding it (it's on a back street) we were greeted with pleasant staff and a beautiful lobby. Our room on the third floor was clean and modern, with tea and coffee facilities, a TV and a large amount storage. The beds were comfy and blackout curtains allowed a good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, there was a huge variety of pastries, bread, meats, fruit and juices. The hotel also has a roof terrace, with seating which would be great to sit on in the summer. It is situated near bus stops, and is also a 15 minute walk away from the Vatican and Cipro metro station which takes you into the main centre of Rome. it is also possible to walk into the centre if you wish too. Overall this is a great hotel for anyone wanting a few days touring Rome.

“Beautiful hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Tiberio. When we arrived, we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, with a huge balcony overlooking the adorable italian neighborhood. The room was beautiful, the bathroom spacious. Everything was clean and well maintained. The included breakfasts were a quick and delicious way to fuel up before a day of touring. We ate most of our lunches out while touring, but for dinner, we stopped by the grocer (right around the corner), for some cheese, crackers, grapes, olives and nuts (and some wine) for dining al fresco on the balcony or the rooftop patio. Don't miss the rooftop patio--it's beautiful and has a view of the lit St. Peter's dome at night.

“Couldn't have been better!”

We were very pleased with everything about this hotel which we booked as a package flight and hotel. It looked very impressive with all the trees lit up on our arrival and the reception room was lovely. Our room was everything we could have wished - maybe another pillow or a bit softer ones would be good. The beds are firm but I like that. There was a jug and tea and coffee in our room which was really great. Being in a residential area meant it was quiet all night, although we could hear the upstairs neighbours banging around some. Our room key did not turn on the power one time and I rang reception and someone came within minutes. Breakfast was fantastic with every kind of food and drink you would want. The free shuttle to the town centre was great only remember to book it in advance or it's going to be full, however, there is a bus stop a short way around the corner with regular buses and the train station a short way the other direction. We took the train out to the airport using our Roma Pass, which you should definitely buy.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor

“The complete experience”

Great experience, as we could have almost touched them. The breakfasts were very special in a lovely room on the first floor with everything you could ask for, a big fridge, a bar, TV and fresh pastries and fruit left out during the day. Our own espresso coffee machine is our room, a four poster bed with curtains, marble bathroom, the list goes on. The manager, made our lives very easy. Nothing was too much trouble, everything I requested appeared like magic, from an international adaptor (after leaving mine at the last hotel) maps, laundry, charged my portable charger, a cup of capuccino while I was sitting one afternoon in the lounge area, the list just goes on. We can't recommend this hotel enough, it was a true Roman experience as we walked out of the hotel and 2 minutes later found ourselves in the main square.

Nothing bad nothing good. Not a great location but not terrible either. Do be forewarned that there is no Air Conditioning in the rooms. It was warm the week we were there and the rooms got hot during the day.
