Well priced convent (50 euro per night) lodgings with great location in Rome, walking distance to colosseum and other roman ruins. The train station is about a five minute walk away and the train (metro) easily takes you to the centre of rome and all other attractions. A number of places to eat nearby.
Price per night included breakfast which was basic but filling - bread rolls with jam, butter, cheese and coffee, orange juice. Did not have dinner there. Rooms are basically furnished, but clean and with ensuite facilities.
Unfortunately I had a room which faced the piazza dei monti and it was noisy quite late - at times up until 2am, with the sound of people in the piazza and opposite restaurant. Luckily I was so tired from day of walking I was able to sleep but if you are a light sleeper it is worth requesting a room facing away from the piazza. Also if someone is smoking outside your window in the piazza the smoke drifts into your room.
