“Our favorite hotel in Rome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012
3
people found this review helpful

We have been to Rome many times and the Hotel Campo De'Fiori is one of our absolute favorites. I highly recommend the apartments which are actual apartments either next to or across the street from the actual hotel. The apartments are very private, very romantic and are very well kept and safe. We have never seen the rooms in the hotel but the public spaces (especially the roof top garden) are incredible. Never a night in Rome went by that we didn't get a bottle of wine from the shop across the square and watch the sun go down over Rome from the hotel's roof. Pick this one. You won't be sorry.

Room Tip: The apartments are very private and romantic.

“Our favorite hotel in Rome!”

Dear Guest,

your title is very important to us especially since you have been to Rome many times and this means that you are familiar with Italian and Roman hotels and therefore you are able judge properly and express exactly what is positive and what you may have found negative.
We do try and it seems that we are very successful in making our hotel as well as our apartments a home away from home for all of our guests and this makes us very happy.
As you indicate, “the Hotel Campo De'Fiori is one of our absolute favorites” and “The apartments are very private, very romantic and are very well kept and safe”. Within a couple of words you have expressed some thoughts that cover all of our facilities!

Our Boutique hotel is renowned for it’s location, beauty, coziness, terrace view of Rome, something that 95% of the tourists that visit Rome are unable to see and it’s for free!! Our apartments although located in buildings dating back to the 1400’s and their basements back to the 1200’s are all totally renovated with all modern comforts such as, A/C, Free WiFi, LCD Flat Tv’s, modern kitchens with all the necessary utensils to cook with. We also offer coffee, tea and sugar in all of our apartments, daily cleaning is also included and all of our guests have access to all the hotel facilities as well. Perfect for families or couples that desire the feeling of home, more space and yet on vacation!

Hoping to have you return with us.

Warm Regards,

F. Severino

“Simply perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and booked 2 rooms. Right from the start we informed the staff that it was a surprise for our mother's birthday and that she had no idea we would be there as well. They helped us to organise everything from the taxi to pick my parents up at the airport to book us in two of the most beautiful hotel rooms I ever stayed in. When we arrived, all the staff knew about our plan as soon as we told them our name and their welcoming was the most professional and fiendly I could possibly dream of from a hotel reception. They even offered us the champagne and arranged glasses and snacks to great our mother when she arrived. Overall, we owe al lot to the hotel and the staff for making our week end such a special one. Honnestly, I loved everything about his hotel: the amazing decoration, the comfort of the rooms, the location (walking distance to the main monuments), the breakfast, the view from the roof top, and of course the staff, their friendliness, their language skills in French, their service and their 'italian charm'!! It was just perfect!

Dear Guest,

Although there is a saying that perfection is not of this world, we try to get as close as possible!!

Our multi language university level staff is prepared for organizing important events such as birthdays, matrimonies, honeymoons, special events and guests that are seeking to pass a special vacation getting away from the daily tam tams. We are able to organize, airport pick up’s as well as airport returns with luxury cars at the rates of normal taxis, to organize private tours as well as group tours, to reserve restaurants, pizzerias and trattorias that are not touristy. The happiness and fulfillment of our guests is our happiness and fulfillment!

Our hotel designed by an important Architect offers elegance, coziness, modern facilities and comforts while being in a building that of which we are proud for the fact that if one chooses to take the staircase to his room he can admire embedded in the walls pieces of white marble fragments as well as a column dating back to the Theatre of Pompey approx. 44 B.C. exactly where Julius Caesar was murdered! Maybe he even touched these pieces of marble but for certain Ancient Romans as well as Medieval Romans and up to today’s Modern Romans have touched them being there since the 1400’s and having origins to 44 B.C. meaning 1,968 YEARS OLD!!!! Not an everyday thing even for other hotels in Rome. To top it all off, a beautiful roof top terrace with an absolutely fabulous view of the Eternal City.

We are very pleased that your stay with us was a total success this way your mother will have a lifetime souvenir to cherish, “her stay in Rome!”

Best Regards,

F. Severino

“Worth Every Penny”

Sorry its late but better late than never, this hotel is one of the best i have stayed in,
very rare i have stayed in a hotel and said it was perfect but this really is, the rooms so special, as for the bathrooms they are not just clean they sparkle, as for the roof terrace well go there and you will see for yourself, yes we all look at lots of hotels, for many we want the best value for our money.
You will find cheaper but believe me this hotel is worth every penny and i would recomend it to every one. If you really want somewhere close to every thing, yet of an evening just step out the door to great night life or maybe like us sit on the roof terrace with cheese and wine looking at the stars don't waste your time looking else were.

Room Tip: Any room all special

Dear Guest,

To the saying, “Worth every Penny”, I’d add “Worth every Euro”! A newly renovated hotel located in the centre of Ancient Rome offering the max that any hotel can offer but with a special care at the cleaning aspect. One may find beautiful rooms in other paces but they are not always perfectly cleaned while we offer beautiful rooms and beautiful bathrooms while adding as obligatory, “super clean”.
Our hotel is cleaned as though each one of us of the hotel staff was to sleep in the rooms personally. As you write, “as for the bathrooms they are not just clean they sparkle,”. Being centrally located you have options such as, you have at your finger tips the most important sites, the most important shops and the most fun as well as most searched for Roman Night Life. At one moment if one needs to take a pause from all of this you have the possibility to stay on our beautifully furnished roof top terrace where one may sip a glass of good wine and taste some of the world’s most desirable cheeses or Italian specialties while not stopping your visit of the Ancient city of Rome having the possibility of observing from above what you have observed from the street level earlier!

As you conclude, “don't waste your time looking else were.”

Hoping to have you as our guests in the future if you ever decide to return to the Eternal City.

Warmest regards,

F. Severino

Just spent 4 nights here, and loved the hotel. We stayed in the main hotel rather than the apartments. Over-the-top but tasteful decoration, great views from the roof terraces, housekeeping was first class, and handy for restaurants, bars, and of course the other sites in Rome!

“Stunning hotel, great location, friendly and welcoming staff”

Dear guest,

Although you use a few words to sum up your stay with us, your title indeed expresses a total 360° approval. As they say, this plus this plus this plus this sums up a perfect vacation.
Our beautifully decorated hotel, central location, first level staff, beautiful roof top terrace are the ingredients blended together to make our guests stay with us a total success and an unforgettable experience. “One may look but not see, one may hear but not understand,” and at this point this is where a top level staff makes the difference being able to understand the necessities and wants of all of our guests even of the most demanding and particular.

Our hotel is proud of hosting and being selected by guests of International Fame such as International Actors, International Singers as well as International Writers! A trendy area such as Campo de’ Fiori with a trendy elegant Boutique Hotel such as Hotel Campo de’ Fiori.

Best regards,

F. Severino

“A good choice for a romantic/family trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Very well located by the Campo de Fiori, hence pretty much everything you might want to visit in Rome, this hotel is surprisingly charming. The roof top is simply beautiful, and it provides a very nice view over the city. Rooms are on the small side, yet they are well designed and arranged, so that they feel fairly comfortable. Breakfast is above the average for Italy - but then again, don't expect miracles there. The staff is surprisingly friendly and helpful, and they are perfectly fluent in more than one language for the most part. I would recommend it for a romantic and/or family stay in Rome, knowing the price isn't a total rip off on top of everything else.

Dear Guest,

As I was reading your review which I thank you for I noticed that you always express yourself saying, surprisingly, fairly, don’t expect, for the most part, isn’t a total… Evidently you weren’t expecting what you received and this pleases us. There are some tourists that when traveling begin already with a negative attitude for various reasons such as work stress, traveling stress or stress and hard life in general.
We are more than pleased to have been able to make your stay with us a pleasurable one since you, “ I would recommend it for a romantic and/or family stay in Rome”.

You also appreciated our staff for its’ warmth and cultural preparations and this is also very pleasing for us.

Hoping to have you as our guest in the future,

Warmest Regards,
