My husband and I couldnt choose the word to best describe our stay at the Hotel Delle Muse in Rome, so we opted for both of the above.

This hotel rose above and beyond my expectations from the off. Mr Lazar and the team at Delle Muse bent over backwards to ensure that our visit was just as we had hoped. I forgot to pack an adapter for my electrical items and the Reception desk addressed my problem immediately. Nothing was too much for the staff.

I booked this 3 day City Break as a surprise for my husband's birthday and after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, I thought this would be a good experience. I was not prepared for it to be fantastic, so a huge bonus! Our room was nice, spacious and very clean. The restaurant staff were attentive and always provided service with a smile. The breakfast buffet selection is wide, catering for every taste along with the evening menu.

The hotel is a little way out of the centre of Rome, but my husband and I were able to find our way around with no problem as the hotel are very informative and provide you with maps and transportation information. The 360 bus stop is 200 meters away from the hotel and takes you directly to Termini Station where you can take other buses to your chosen sites. Personally speaking, being slightly out of the hustle and bustle of a major city is quite refreshing as you get to experience another side of this beautiful city, a more relaxed atmosphere (which is nice after long days)!

I have already recommended this hotel to family, so would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone else thinking of booking here. We look forward to returning to Delle Muse. Thank you for everything - great hotel and great visit.

When we booked this hotel we knew it was not exactly smack bang in the centre, but this appealed to us as we like walking. It took 40 minutes to get into the centre, the weather was lovely (it was December!) and we worked off the gelato we had at the Trevi Fountain!

The staff in the hotel are by far the best thing about this lovely hotel. Excellent service and nothing was a problem, the speak fantastic English and are very imformative.

The room had a balcony and although a little small, it was clean and we had no complaints.

The breakfast was a great selection and would set us up for the day.

All in all we loved Rome and will go back, and when we do, we will stay here again.

Hotel was easy to find however it is quite far from most of the action and tourists spots. You would need to take a +-15min bus ride, however waiting for the bus was more annoying than the ride itself.

The hotel is old and dated, pretty much the same as most in Rome however the owner and staff were extremely helpful and polite.

Possibly the best breakfast that i have had in Italy.

Must try out Pippo's icecream 2 streets away as well as the take away pizza place next to Pippo's.
