“The best things come in small packages ................”

Ok well this Hotel is perfect for couples or small groups of people. At the moment they are renovating the loby/receiption but this does not take away from the excellent service provided by the staff. They are warm and very helpful....nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was great....although i did see a group of 6 try to sit together which was near impossible which is why i say that the hotel is perfect for couples or small groups. The room we were given 104 was very small no room to swing a cat) and no views at all. but again suitable for what we needed and very clean. I would stay here again - no question.

“If this is a 4 star hotel a non star hotel would be jail...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

I am sitting in room 113 in the Annex tight now listening to my neighbours arab music. I wonder if the walls are made of paper in this hotel. Very friendly staff, clean rooms but the reason I live inte a hotel is that I need a place to sleep and that is imposible in this hotel. I come from Sweden and a non star hotel has a higher standard than this hotel. If the hotel will sound proof the rooms this is a good hotel, otherwise I have to warn you about this hotel.

I am very sorry for the noises that you experienced one night. The walls are quiet thick and the doors were changed recently in soundproofing material.
Unfortunately if other clients, clearly not polite, listen to music very loudly, I think it is difficult to have total soundproofing. If you had telephoned to our front desk to mention your problem, we could suddenly request to the client next to your room to lower the music volume; but you did not advise us about this problem.
I also put, clearly visible in the corridor, a notice with the request to all clients to respect the night silence.
I think I made all my efforts to guarantee the quietness and, I repeat, I invite all the clients to tell us, during their stay here, not after their departure, any noises coming from other rooms; so that it is easy for us to solve the problem immediately.

“Best Location in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

Family of 4 rented 2 rooms here at the suggestion of a friend. He said best location in Rome and he was right. Rooms very clean, great linens and updated decor. Small, but good size for Europe. Felt very safe. Price was very good for quality, not to mention it included an excellent included breakfast and free internet.

Very close to numerous attractions, restaurants and the best part is that you feel like you are planted right in the middle of a Roman City....not in a tourist pit. Staff was very helpful and professional, not overly friendly, but very professional.

I would definitely stay there again. My wife thought the mattress was a bit thin but the rest of us had no issues. The great gelato right next door made up for the mattress apparently....:)

“Great small hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Excellent location for main attractions and was very easy to reach from Termini station. The room was as shown on the website, not massive but by no means small, very clean with nice decor. Staff were very helpful and incredibly friendly. Have stayed in many hotels in Rome and this stands out for the price, location and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend. We are a same sex couple and this caused no issue.

“Convenient location but not a 4-star”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

I spent two nights on a business trip to Rome, with good luck to get very nice winter days. Regarding the hotel, there were some renovation works under way in the ground floor, which is not nice but I understand these have to be carried out in this kind of building and it makes sense to do that in the low season.
It's definitely not a spacious hotel, with lots of mirrors to make it seem larger. Breakfast is quite average for a 4-star and I didn't get a view from my room so I kept the blinds always shut.
The safe in the closet was too small for a laptop, even for an iPAD.
However, the staff at reception were kind and attentive.
Wi-Fi access is free of charge and works very well (quite fast actually), a plus for this hotel, which is near the Via Nazionale and has a metro station (Cavour) just a stone's throw away, even though there's a line of garbage bins on that direction...
Several restaurants and gelaterias nearby also provide plenty of choice for meals.

Room Tip: All rooms are different from each other (at least that's announced) so it's hard to tell. Ma...

Thank you for the appreciations made.
I'm sorry that sometimes renovations can create some minor inconvenience: we understand, we apologize and thank you for your patience. Our aim is to improve standards and more and more services to offer to our clients.
Very soon, however, these works will be completed.
I'm sorry you did not appreciate our breakfast, but I would point out that the choice of fresh fruit is unfortunately limited by winter: we choose for our clients only from seasonal fruits, for the most part, by the cultivation of the area. We, then, a wide choice of cereals and cakes, different types of bread, meats, cheeses, eggs and vegetables.
I'm glad that the recent changes to enhance the wi-fi network, enabling a faster connection and more efficient.
