“great value”

We stayed for 3 nights mid February. Excellent position, close to station, metro, walking distance to many of the main attractions. Numerous quality restaurants and bars around the corner, which helped in the sleet and the snow!
Hotel is well looked after, cleaned daily and staff are friendly. Plenty of choice for a continental breakfast which is available 7.30 til 10am. Drinks available all day and evening.
Only downside for anyone with mobility problems is the flight of steps upto reception.
But for us the hotel was ideal and we would definitely return when in Rome.

My wife and i visited Rome for her birthday surprise at the end of Jan 2012, we stayed for 3 nights, but only wish we had booked for longer. All of the hotel staff were helpful and polite nothing was to much. The grey haired and wise concierge (Tony) was above & Beyond. full of local knowledge and good places to eat. The rooms were in great order and the hotel was very clean and tidy.... we did not understand how it only had a 3 star ratting.we were definitely in 5 star service.

Room Tip: the 3rd floor had a great few of the opera house

“Perfect!”

My fiancee and I visited Rome in August 2011 and thought the hotel was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights but could have happily stayed for longer. The concierge (Tony) was extremely helpful and recommended places to eat and sites to see every day. The room size was good and the view of the busy city below was nice. A cheap supermarket was situated next to the hotel which meant it was very convenient if we needed any basic essentials. The breakfast served was lovely but could have done with more of a selection. I highly recommend this hotel for any couple looking for a romantic getaway. I would happily go back anytime!!

“Vacation”

For us this Hotel was in a perfect location. All the sites could be reached by walking including the Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo. The metro is a few minute walk away if you prefer to ride the subway to the different locations. The rooms are small but very nice and very clean. The best part of this Hotel was the staff. They were all very nice and took great care of us. The breakfast was good and a great way to start the day off. If you need transfers to and from the airport, just let them know and they will set it all up. We plan on going back and highly recommend the Lirico.

“Joy to stay”

My husband and I visited Roma from December 21 to 27 and stayed at hotel Lirico. The hotel was in a fabulous location and it was really easy to find. Our window overlooked the Opera Theater. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable just what we needed for rest after a long day of sight seeing. The staff were extremely helpful and family friendly. Overall we had a great stay at hotel Lirico and could not fault them in any aspect. We will stay again if we return to Roma. Also we will strongly recommend this hotel to our friends who decide to visit Rome. This place may not be suitable for seniors or disabled people. 24 stairs lead to the hotel and there is no elevator to get there.
