We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Rome for the Six Nations Rugby, from Thursday 9th Feb 2012.
The hotel is a little way out of the center, but if you're happy to walk to the tram (15 mins) or take the bus it's not a problem. There's also a nice walk from just past the tram stop (Ponte del Risorgimento bridge) along the river side - takes you quickly down the the Castle St Angelo, and beyond if you want.
We found the staff friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both good and there was a balcony too. The only minor criticism is the coffee - not sure what it was, but we skipped it after the first morning!
We went to two great restaurants that were close by; Ambasciata d'Abruzzo (who provided a taxi to and from the hotel which was great because of all the snow and slush) and Carioca, which we went to twice.
