“Great location - 2 hotels in one!”

Elite hotel is a little bit complicated.
Some rooms are renovated and others are in a bad/old condition.
We have booked a standard room which was at the 1st floor. That was the worst room i have ever stayed.Old and tiny.
The next day changed in a superior room(20€ upgrade). This room was tottaly different. New, spacious and modern. In this room we enjoyed our stay.

It is important to say that the staff was very helpful & the location of the hotel was perfect!

The hotel is small. Some rooms are renovated. If you order a renovated room il costs 20$ more. We stayed in the other room and it was o.k. the location is great' right near the Spanish stairs. The stuff is doing a wonderful job. Always happy to help and give advice. Claudia especially!

We recomand to go to this hotel.

“You get what you pay for”

We were most pleased with the location of the hotel-- between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. It was about a 5 minute walk to both sites. NOTE: to get to the hotel from the Spanga Metro stop, you will need to walk to the top of the Spanish Steps to Via Sistina then to Via Frencesco Crispi. We learned that the hard way! Be sure to buy a map at the airport.

Our hotel room was clean, but very small. The bed was smaller than an American double bed, but it was fine. The shower was kind of odd. It was elevated, so to get into it, you had to take a large step up.

“Location! Location! Location!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2010

I was a little nervous about booking this room due to the mixed reviews. I must say, I was very happy to see this hotel met and exceeded my expectations. We had a deluxe room on the second floor - which meant the room had been renovated. It was a very plain room (think Ikea furniture) which was fine with me. Our room had a view of the street. As long as the window is closed it was very quiet. For someone that is more interested in the sights than spening a lot of time in the room - this is the hotel for you! It's literally around the corner from the Spanish Steps (less than 5 mins walking). We walked to the Trevi Fountain daily. There is a daily breakfast room filled with tea, coffee, juice, and a choice of baked goods - nice was to begin the morning - held us over until lunch!

Great hotel for an active couple, or a couple of girlfriends wanting to see all the sights in Rome. Can't wait to go back! Would stay here again!

“Great budget hotel in top location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2010

When I decided to book an affordable hotel in central Rome I expected to forfeit comfort, but this hotel was good value and surprisingly relaxing given it's central location. Our room overlooked the street, but the shutters and double glazing kept the majority of the Roman noise outside, and the air-conditioning was a godsend! Comfortable, very clean, and the staff were both friendly and helpful - providing excellent restaurant reccommendations too. The location was great, with most sights and attractions within easy walking distance. I would happily return to this hotel and will be reccommending it to my budget-savvy friends.
