We loved the location of the hotel, it was in fact walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do and in the heart of many great restaurants and walking areas. Spanish steps and wonderful shopping less than five minutes away. Our room was gorgeous- on the top floor and very spacious - we did a one bedroom suite. We also saw a deluxe double and junior suite on the top floor which had gorgeous terraces and we thought they were amazing as well. The staff greeted us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and fruit plate which was a nice touch.
The only reason I don't give it a full perfect score was just because of a few issues we had where we felt the staff wasn't particularly warm. One example was my sister was coming in and the doorman was talking to a friend, the friend actually pushed my sister to get in the door before her. Also, a few times we asked the concierge for directions someplace they were not accurate and we did end up lost at one point. Finally, while we were checking out they began checking in another couple in the middle of checking us out which I felt was a bit rude- i understand it gets busy but we had a few questions and we were competing with another couple coming in (who was behind us in line).
Overall a very nice hotel in a great location though.
