“Family hotel”

Have just returned from a four day trip with four others , one including my 88 year old mother in law. From enteriing the hotel we were met by nothing but friendliness and courtesy. We had a standard double room and a triple room both of which were fine. Beds were very comfy and clean and bathrooms lovely with a great shower. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and they definitely go that extra mile. Breakfast was plentiful with as much tea and coffee as you can drink and their is something to suit all tastes. We had a couple of meals in the hotel restaurant and they were both lovely and not too expensive. We hope to return to Rome soon and would definitely return to this hotel.

We choose the family run Napoleon Hotel to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary from the 27th January 2012 for four nights. From the moment we were collected from the airport and greeted at the Hotel concierge desk we felt it was the right choice of hotel. The staff are helpful, always have a smile and are very professional and give you their best attention to make your stay at the Napoleon Hotel and Rome a pleasant one. We were asked if we wanted to change our pillows if they were not suitable and we had clean towels each day.
Our room was on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and quite which was tastefully furnished and a big modern bathroom. When we shown to our room there were fresh flowers on the dressing table which was a nice touch and on our wedding anniversary Roberto Cioce, the owner, sent flowers and a bottle of bubbly to our room. There was a variety of good food for all tastes at breakfast and plenty of coffee and tea and we also had a couple of meals in the restaurant which were inexpensive and comparable with other restaurants in the area. The metro entrance is just a few metres from the hotel and the concierge have tickets which saves you working out how to use the ticket machine at the station. If we do return to Rome and I certainly hope we do, I will not have to search the web to find a Hotel, I will go straight to the Napoleon web site and book. Thank you to Roberto and his staff for making our trip to Rome a memorable four days and I would not hesitate to recommend the Napoleon Hotel to family and friends

“Hotel Napoleon”

Just returned from 4 days in Rome. This is my second time staying at the Napoleon and the Hotel is ideal. The Metro is a few steps from the front door and a 24 hour ticket with unlimited journeys will cost 4 euros. The standard rooms are a little small, however they are very clean and fresh. We had clean towels and bed linnen every day of our stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. breakfast is adequate with decent choices. bar and food prices are on a par with other bars and restaurants in Rome. Would return to this hotel without question on any future visit to Rome.

“Friendly staff and great location”

I don't think I've ever experienced such friendly and helpful staff before! They were so welcoming. The hotel is in a great location for walking to attractions such as the Colosseum etc. The area itself is not so pretty, but I felt perfectly safe walking around, even at night. The rooms were clean, and big enough.

“A great hotel”

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during the spring of 2007 and I was 100% satisfied with all service, food, and kindness of staff. A great surrounding area for exploring the real Rome, and for me it was a nice walk to the Colosseum. I will definitely return and stay there.
