“Cleaners ho through luggage and steal, rooms smell of sewage.”

Our suitcases were clearly rifled through and my duty free Chanel perfume was stolen by the cleaner during our week long stay at this hotel. The room smelt strongly of sewage, the smell emanating through the bath plug and toilet. While this hotel is undeniably in a fantastic location, I would never in a million years stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels nearby - stay there instead and avoid coming back to a smelly room that has been cased by the cleaning staff.

Dear Sue,
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, we are very upset about it and we are going to make further investigations with our staff, but to tell you the truth we never came across this type of problem before. I know personally all the persons working here since at least 10 years, and I am 100% sure that no one would put at risk their job, expecially in this time, for a bottle of parfume. Please accept our apologies and it would be great if we can see you again in the next future.
We hope to hear from you soon.
Regards.
Gabriele Francone.

“Simply perfect”

We booked through BA Flight & Hotel - arranged for the Hotel to pick us up (cheaper than BA) 50Euro to met by a lovely man in a merc who gave us a guided tour and local knowledge for the 50 minute drive to the Hotel. The staff there are great and very helpful. Loads of food at breakfast, the room was small but we were hardly in it as there is so much to do in Rome and when we were in the room we slept in what must have been a Queen size bed. (pillows a bit hard, you might want to take your own!) The room was cleaned spotlessly everyday, there really is nothing bad to say about this Hotel. Its location is FIRST CLASS, right by the sights you'd want to see and within walking distance of everywhere you'd want to go. If you want to stay in Rome for a decent price dont look anywhere else - honestly. We stayed in January and had the most amazing weather, clear skies the entire time, tshirt weather in fact.

Room Tip: rooms at the front and on right as you look at the building are on the main streets, although the th...

“Perfect location!”

This was our first trip to Rome and the location was absolutely fantastic! Every site was within walking distance and there were lots of shops and restaurants nearby to choose from. Our room upon arrival was on the small side but as soon as a larger room became available staff were happy to move us. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was plentiful, although sometimes the breakfast room was a bit busy and difficult to get a seat.

The only downside I would say is that there is no bar at the hotel or tea and coffee facilities in the rooms; however on the whole a fantastic place to stay and I will certainly stay again when visiting Rome.

“Traditional ultra clean hotel in brilliant location”

Location could not be beaten. Very quiet at night in spite of being on busy Via del Corso. Easy walk to Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon plus numerous narrow winding streets and eateries. Near parliament and very heavily policed

I have never seen such a clean hotel. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Bear in mind that this is a small three star hotel and do not expect large rooms. Can recommend eating a superior room overlooking street with balcony. Best to have a bath rather than a shower as water flows out from the shower area. Breakfast is geared to the Europeans and on the Monday morning was very sparse but improved the next day. It took us a while to work out that the breakfast waiter can be asked to make any type of coffee at the bar including decaf. Water brought for tea was warm rather than hot but I gave up on sorting this out, Italians are not tea drinkers so best to go with the coffee!
That's Amore cafe nearby in Via in Aricone has superb reasonably priced food including hand made pasta and beautiful wines

“A fine place and centrally located”

There was a massive number of hotels in Rome to choose from and we got lucky on our first trip to Rome. We had an excellent room with a balcony overlooking the Christmas-lit street. It was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We walked to the Roman Forum, the Coloseum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and other highlights. We were there for three nights.
