We booked this hotel with a very reasonably priced flight & hotel deal and hoped for the best when we saw the hotel website.
Upon arrival we were greeted in a very unfriendly manner. Instead of "hello, ciao, whatever..." the concierge just yelled "Austria???" and pointed to the room were we were to drop our luggage - well, it was afternoon and our rooms were not ready. When asked when our room would be ready, the concierge answered "don't know, problem". When I started to call the travel agency, we were suddenly told the room would be ready within 1 hour. Our room was big but rather run down - veneer and wallpaper peeling, stains on carpets, bath had a moldy smell. At least the air condition was working and the water pressure was ok. Our friends ended up with rooms in the same condition, but substantially smaller. I think the Hotel is 30 years past it's prime and nothing has been done since. Breakfast was not good, coffee was instant brew, scrambled eggs tasted of plastic. We found a nice bar across the street and had breakfast there. Bus and subway around the corner at least.
