Convenient location. Great staff. Gennaro and Dario were handles food services brilliantly. I will repeat next time I come to Rome,
Went there from south Italy for sight seeing in Rome for 3 days with 5 friends. We booked 2 rooms online.
Pros:Very quiet, clean, helpfull staff, great breakfast buffet
Cons: Had to walk to get to the nearest bus or subway station. Expensive and poor dinner. Suburban area so no that much of a view.
I recently stayed in this hotel 4th July to 10th July with my female friend
I was most concerned that my gender identity (disphoria) issues would be a factor in my stay for I am a male pre-op transsexual.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I was accepted from day one as a female. The reception staff were always helpful and referred to me as Madame,
The restaurant staff equally so especially Gennaro. He is to be commended for his diligence, efficiency and attention to detail.
Many thanks Robert (Rachael) Young.
all staff excellent, gennaro very helpful and friendly all staff cannot do enought for you, we will be going back next year love you all xx
The hotel is advertised as a 4 star; however. it is probably closer to a mid range 3 star, if that.
The Pros:
Excellent value. We were able to get a room for two nights for a 120 euros including breakfast. For Rome, this price could not be beat in high season.
Breakfast was simply excellent. By far the best complimentary breakfast we encountered on the entire trip that included several cities and two countries.
Cleanliness. The rooms and, especially the bathroom was clean and fairly spacious by European standards.
Hotel Restaurant/Bar was quite good and very reasonably priced. My wife claims it has the best lasagna in Rome!
The staff were incredibly helpful and generally went out of their way to help us. In addition, the front desk staff generally spoke English which was a big help.
The shuttle bus was an added bonus, especially due to the location. Be warned that a reservation is required in advance!
Cons:
Location. It is way out of the way in a city that does not have the best mass transit system. In addition, the hotel is very far from the nearest Metro/FM station. That made getting to the hotel the first time quite difficult. Best bet is to get a taxi from the FM3 train station.
Beds were extremely hard. I like firm, but the beds in room 405 were like sleeping on a marble slate.
Internet is free, but the wireless is slow and the signal is never really good in the rooms. There is a hotspot in the lounge that seemed to work very well.
