The hotel is advertised as a 4 star; however. it is probably closer to a mid range 3 star, if that.
The Pros:
Excellent value. We were able to get a room for two nights for a 120 euros including breakfast. For Rome, this price could not be beat in high season.
Breakfast was simply excellent. By far the best complimentary breakfast we encountered on the entire trip that included several cities and two countries.
Cleanliness. The rooms and, especially the bathroom was clean and fairly spacious by European standards.
Hotel Restaurant/Bar was quite good and very reasonably priced. My wife claims it has the best lasagna in Rome!
The staff were incredibly helpful and generally went out of their way to help us. In addition, the front desk staff generally spoke English which was a big help.
The shuttle bus was an added bonus, especially due to the location. Be warned that a reservation is required in advance!
Cons:
Location. It is way out of the way in a city that does not have the best mass transit system. In addition, the hotel is very far from the nearest Metro/FM station. That made getting to the hotel the first time quite difficult. Best bet is to get a taxi from the FM3 train station.
Beds were extremely hard. I like firm, but the beds in room 405 were like sleeping on a marble slate.
Internet is free, but the wireless is slow and the signal is never really good in the rooms. There is a hotspot in the lounge that seemed to work very well.

The standard double room was just a tiny square. No sitting area, just a small desk with a tiny TV. There was about 18-inches of free space on each side of the bed; too cramped for two people. The website states it was recently renovated.....not this room. The walls were covered with dirty, torn satin. The noise from the other rooms was intolerable. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the Vatican or to the Metro, but not if you have registered as part of a group. Our group went their way, and we thought we could take the shuttle on our own, but were turned down. The desk was not helpful in assisting us in locating the closest public transportation. The breakfast selection was good with a scrambled eggs and bacon mix, as the hot dish. There were pastries, yogurt, meats, cheeses, and cereals. The price for this hotel is low, but the room was worth much less than what we paid. The hotel is not in a good location; too far from the city and public transportation. We would never consider staying here a second time.

This is a lovely hotel - friendly staff, reasonable rooms and very clean. Breakfast was good and we had a 'free bar' offer with our stay which was very good, covering everything from beer to cocktails. However, access to and from Rome and/or the Vatican City is not easy. If you use the bus it is an extremely busy one and, after a journey of 20 mins +, the stop is a good 5 mins walk from the hotel. We were quoted 28 euros for a taxi fare. Although the hotel restaurant is fairly good, there are no other facilities within walking distance (unless we missed them). The shuttle bus took us to the Vatican each morning but was not, unfortunately, running on an evening. For access reasons alone I would, regretfully, be unlikely to use this hotel again.
