“It is not what it looks like!”

The hotel has one of the best location in Rome, and looks very elegant and sophisticated from the entrance... If you look on their site you will see gorgeous suites, rooms with a beautiful modern design...but they have only few of them and unfortunately are available only for the russians or celebrities ! It doesn't matter if you pay 700euro per night as we paid, if you are normal people you will get an small, old and smelly room with dirty walls, with broken shower and old furniture... If you want to spend these money and get what you expect to get for these money, and you are not russian or a celebrity, definitely go somewhere else...You can spend less and have better service and and really beautiful suites (available for everybody ) in Hotel Eden or Splendid Royal or Hotel de Russie, all of them has very good location near Piazza di Spagna...

“Great location and beautiful views.”

This hotel has an awesome location right of the Spanish Steps where France meets Spain and shopping meets dining. Everybody were welcoming and pretty nice during our stay. There is a terrace which has gorgeous views of Rome and I believe you can dine or have a drink there when the weather permits. The room we had was a bit small. But it was done in very pleasant and warm colors. Bathroom had everything you would need. The breakfast room was very small again...I mean one morning we had to ''fight''for table, but nice buffet. There was a piano player in the evening and drinks and pizza were fabulous.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor and did hear everything what was going on in the dining room.

“Beautyfull views”

We went to Rome with our 2 children. Hassler has a very good offer as they offer connecting rooms and with a 50% discount on the childrens room. We stayed in room 306 and 308 (grand de luxe rooms). 306 has 2 Windows with a wonderfull wiew to the Church of sct Peter. The rooms are spacius with wooden floors and quite big bathrooms. The interieur is all over old fashioned and in fact a bit ugly, but that is a bit of the charm of the hotel. But it is not trendy and modern.
As you will expect service is perfect in an oldfashioned way. Breakfastbuffet is very nice with a lot of fresh fruit and juices.

And finally the location is unbeatable whatever the purpose of your visit.

Room Tip: Ask for view to the City

“Absolutely Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

Warm, inviting - that's the Hassler. Spending the week before Christmas with the Hassler staff was like being with family. The location, our sleeping room, the fine dining, the "best of the best" Concierge team and the warm and accommodating hospitality of the staff made our stay perfect - we will certainly be back and will recommend the Hassler to our friends and family - absolutely fabulous! We combined a business trip with a quick vacation and the Hassler made sure that we were given the true "Welcome to Italy".

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Spanish steps - very important to your stay at the Hassler.
