Stayed at this hotel by myself for a couple of nights - and, apart from the central location, I have nothing nice to say about this place! First of all, you can hear just about everything happening on your floor and if you are lucky like me and have a room next to a toilet is not very pleasent at all, especially not if you are trying to sleep. Second night there I woke up by an awful smell coming from my bathroom, there must have been a problem with their sewage system or something. There was a hole in my door and the bed felt like a plank. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on November 2011. The only reason we stayed here was because we're only staying two days in Rome and knew the location was rated pretty good. Had no time to waste traveling long distances to the turist sites.
I will never stay here again and would not even recomend it to my worst enemy.

I stayed with my friend here in May of this year and although we weren't wowed it wasn't awful. You definitely have to go in without high expectations... a little dirty but not overly. The bathtub was different! But it made for a few good laughs. The beds were standard, decor was very interesting. Staff didn't go out of their way for us but they weren't rude. Free wifi.
The location can't be beat. It is directly infront of the Victor Emmanual monument and the colusseum, forum, palatine hill etc is about a 10min walk. Overall if you are looking for a no-frills hotel, just a place to slep at night then this place is perfect.

It's a tiny little hotel in a great location however the staff are so unpleasant and the hotel just seems to go out of their way to screw you over. There is no one on staff you can escalate any issues to. Dont bother.
