Pros:
- great location. you will most likely be in rome for at least 2 days -- great location is most important for these longer visits. rome is big and will want a break in the middle of your day or before dinner -- this location is great for that
- the room is new/modern and spacious --- nice floor, super high ceilings, nice bathroom fixtures -- a really nice room to have in italy especially for rome
- great price
- camilla(who speaks english) was very kind and helpful with questions
Cons:
- yes. you've heard it before, noise can be an issue. however, the street is not a popular street and it is generally quiet. if you want a nap during the day, this place is not for you. but after 9-10pm vehicles come through infrequently and so you won't hear much. my wife is a light sleeper and she did fine(she was also exhausted from the day though hah) our two nights
- breakfast is just a croissant and choice of hot beverage(just a tip, when you give the guy your breakfast voucher, he won't prompt you with your choices -- just point to a croissant
- i think there is like a 30-40 minute limit on hot water then it gets cold
- all in all, i wanted an affordable nice room that was close to main attractions and this was it. i would definitely come back here if i'm ever back in rome
tip: don't take taxi here from train station -- it'll cost ~17 euros. take the metro(should be within the train station) and exit vittoria emmanuale(or something like that) and then the place is a 5 minute walk straight down the street. verify these directions though cause this is off the top of my head
