Where to start. We are currently staying at Romanticasa Piazza Navona & the location is good, although, upon arrival we were asked for the full amount of our stay in cash - ahead of us even staying here - this was a definite surprise to me as it was NEVER stated in any emails upon booking. Not only that, but this place is a B&B so one would think that means the breakfast is of substantial quality, right? Nope, think again...we were served stale packet croissants with packet jams, half a glass of pear juice each & wait for it, packet toast - yes, you read that correctly...toast that came in a packet - not from the toaster but from a packet, cold! What an absolute JOKE! I took 1 bite of the croissant & if the guy who served it up hadn't been watching over us I would of spat it right back out!!!! Instead I opted to drink the 2 coffee's (as my partner does not drink coffee, just tea (which was never offered)). Anyway, so, moving on to the room - it is poky & for the price we paid (being the highest thus far on our European vacation) it is definitely nothing in comparison to the other 4 places we've stayed at in Barcelona, Paris & London! There is NO room for 2 suitcases. The wifi is non existent upstairs where the room is too...so we have to sit downstairs in a common area to utilise it. The shower also rapidly changes from hot to cold - to which I have now developed a nice head cold from...thank you Romanticasa - but we will never recommend your services & will tell everyone we can about how poor the service was! Oh, and one more gripe...upon booking this B&B upon a friends recommendation, I got a reply to my emails almost immediately...that was until I paid the deposit & secured the booking. Then, I was battling to get a reply to any questions or emails - waiting for up to 2 weeks & 4-5 sent emails before being abruptly told she had replied to me (perhaps I had a 'Super Load of Beep Junk Email Inbox' I never knew of, but I had never gotten any replies). I should of known that the service would be bad from that alone!!
