I recommend to all this wonderful B & B. We spend incredible days in Rome, but certainly our best memory will be the dedication of Simona, Antônio and his daughter, in making our stay a pleasant moment.
Until today commented on the smell of vanilla. Congratulations on your success. Certainly when we return to Rome, we will contact them again.

The location the price,the rooms,and especially the people who greet you makes this Bed and Breakfast unique. The owners make you feel at home from the very first moments with a warm greeting, tips on where and how to get around Rome and you don<t have to go far , the Vatican and and other attractions are within walking distance,don't have to worry about parking and traffic--In the morning, the owners greet you with a smile and a good breakfast---highly recommendable

We've stayed at the Marco Polo Vatican B&B for 6 nights at the end of september and we strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Rome.
Simona, Antonio and their daughter- Eleonora are very warm people that won us from the beginning with their hospitality.
The personal attention that we've received made our vacation perfect. We really felt like we were taken care of : a feeling that we've rarely got when staying in a hotel.
The first day we were received by Eleonora who was very helpful and provided us with useful information about sightseeing; museums and the district itself. At the appartment you can find all kind of useful information: guides, maps etc. If you need any suggestions or have questions regarding interesting places in Rome, Simona, Eleonora and Antonio will be kind enough to give you the best possible answer.
As for the apartment- very cozy, elegant and extremely clean place; located in a quiet district just a few steps away from the metro station.
During our 6 night stay we barely heard the other guests, who also, were very respectful about other's comfort.
For our visit we had reserved the "Camera Oro": very spacious and well-lit; with balcony access. The bed was huge and very very comfortable so we really enjoyed relaxing in our beautiful room.

The Marco Polo B&B proved to be an excellent choice for our stay in Rome. Simona and her daughter were very helpful when we arrived, providing us with maps, restaurant suggestions and tourist attraction information. We enjoyed the relaxed "eat when you wake up" self-serve breakfast and the ability to really come and go as we pleased.

The metro line is really close and we used it every day with ease (although, I will say, that lugging our bags from the train station, through the metro and up to the b&b was a workout!).The neighbourhood is quiet and has a few neat pizzerias, bakeries and even a grocery store close by. The b&b also sets up pick up and transport to and from the airport which is fantastic, especially for tourists like my parents who were traveling with a lot of luggage.

My only complaint is that the room doors/handles were really loud and squeaky. I worried frequently that I would wake other guests when using the bathroom at night (2 rooms share a nice bathroom in the hallway). A very minor issue, but an easy fix nonetheless.

I also agree that setting up credit card usage would be of benefit to the b&b, especially if they want to attract North American tourists, like myself, who tend to not want to travel with a lot of currency in their pockets. All in all, a great b&b that I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome!
