We just came back from spending six nights at the Marco Polo. We were there with my brother and sister-in-law. Our room included a private bath but was very small. Theirs also had a private bath and was fabulous. A large room with lots of space for a table and chairs. We used it as a gathering place for some wine and junk food at the end of the day. Apart from a mixup with the towels on our arrival, the rooms were very clean and well serviced. Antonio provided all kinds of helpful information on restaurants, bus routes, metro stops etc.. Giovanna was fabulous making breakfast each morning and also provided helpful hints. We have been home for a week and still miss her coffee first thing in the morning. All in all a very nice family run B&B.

After spending 13 days of exciting Mediterranean trip on cruise, we decided to stay extra two days in Rome to explore the Eternal City of the Western civilization.
Macro Polo B&B offers Clean spacious rooms, friendly service and great value. Bus stops and Metro are within walking distance, you can reach center of Rome and major points of interests easily. You can also walk to Saint Peter's Basilica in Vatican City about 25 minutes. Grocery stores, Pizzeria and ATM are convenient near by.
If I go to Rome again, I would definitely stay at Macro Polo again.

We stayed at Marco Polo B&B for 3 nights. It's a family-run guesthouse. We arrived after midnight and owner's daughter was waiting us with warm welcome. She was very kind and gave us a lot of useful information. We were in 2 different rooms (one with private bathroom, one with the shared one) and both of them were very clean, comfortable and beautiful with cozy king-size beds. Bathrooms were also extremely clean. Location is good. It is not in the center of the city but it is well connected with metro A - 2 stops from Vatican and 4 stops from down-town.

Just stayed for 2 nights with our 4 month old son. Staff were very friendly. Room we had was the largest they had and was very spacious and clean. There was a bit of road noise but I guess this to be expected in Rome. We were made to feel very welcome and would stay again.

Bathroom and kitchen was also all very clean and recently refurbished.
