“Beautiful renovated farmhouse outside of Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2010

We had a difficult time reaching our destination once arriving at Rome Termini. I strongly suggest renting a car while staying at this accommodation. It is located in the country and has beautiful grounds and large rooms including a kitchen. The family who owns Casale Belladonna is wonderful and helpful in planning your daily trips into the City Center.
The breakfasts were light, but fresh and delicious.

If you want to experience a wonderful homemade meal, it is worth the 25 euros (per person) to stay in one evening and enjoy Mom's cooking. My husband and I will recommend this B&B to our friends.

“Brilliant place, personal attention.. a real gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2009

I tentatively booked this Farm House for my elderly parents, myself and my 6 year old son as they only had 2 reviews. The reviews were good though and the pictures very inviting! We got on a bus heading for the right area but didn't really know where we were going. Luckily some kind person phoned the farmhouse and it was all sorted. Andrea collected us from the bus stop. I would recommend contacting them ahead of time to avoid this problem. The distance is the only draw back as it did take about 45 minutes during peak times to get in and out of Rome. There is a bus stop about .5 mile away but Andrea drove us each time as my father doesn't walk well. However this is well worth it! It was quiet, beautiful and the hosts couldn't do enough for us. Andrea lived in the USA for a time so his English was brilliant. The pool was open even though it was September (many others were closed) and we enjoyed a refreshing dip after sightseeing. The garden/grounds are stunning and the view of central Rome at night beautiful. My son enjoyed the pool table and the space to let off some steam. Breakfast was good though could have done with some fruit. We usually had croissants, yogurt, toast, jam and good italian coffee and juice. On 2 of the 3 nights we were there Andrea drove us to get pizzas. He also let us use his computer to access e-mail. His wife, Laura, was friendly and lovely. We will definitely be visiting again!
