As a coffee lover I had to say it was well worth it, fresh brewed italian coffee anytime of the day. Room is very clean, windows are double glazed blocks most of the noise outside, air-cond, heater & safebox available. 2 mins walk to a Carrefour supermarket. Great pizzaria just 3 blocks away. Metro station 3 blocks away & we see police making rounds quite regularly...a safe neighbourhood, neighbours even walk their dogs late at night! Toilet is clean, hot shower, bidet, hairdryer, huge mirror & brightly lighted which is good for the ladies. The host is very friendly & speaks good English, provided a map of Rome...we had a key to ourselves, convenient to go in & out anytime. Host can be contacted via email anytime, he got a BB mobile with him.

We stayed three nights at Angolo Romano and it was just perfect for us. The location was great, close to the Metro and within walking distance of Vatican. Gianfranco was terrific. He waited patiently for us to arrive and then spent lots of time explaining with a map all we should see and do and gave us plenty of useful information. The place is small, but very clean and had the best beds we slept in in all of Italy. The help-yourself kitchen was also quite nice, not having to have a set time for breakfast was very helpful. All in all, a great B&B. Thanks Gianfranco for your enthusiasm and love of your city, it was contagious!

Angolo Romano was simply wonderful. We feel bad that we didn't get this review up sooner as we stayed last summer (sorry Gianfranco)!

Myself and 10 family members travelled to Rome last summer for a wedding and we took over the entire four rooms of the Angolo Romano B&B. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Everything we could have wanted was taken care of -- Gianfranco arranged for pickup from the airport (multiple trips for multiple family members), helped us plan tours of the city and was overall incredibly helpful, charming, and hilarious! He is always within reach on the phone, and emails back almost instantaneously!

As I write this I am planning a return trip to Rome and will be staying at Angolo Romano again.

Rooms (and we stayed in all of them!) were very clean, cute, and modern. Very decent size bathrooms. A/C worked great, complimentary computer was much appreciated. Location was PERFECT. Right by the metro and within easy walking distance of St. Peter's Square and the Vatican. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants and markets nearby. We all felt very safe in the neighbourhood as well.

Overall extremely good value for money in central Rome, and a charming host who will go out of his way to ensure you a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will be back this summer!!

A homely B&B with comfortable rooms in a most convenient location, right next to the Metro - or you can simply walk to everything from here. GianFranco was fantastic, we had a late flight and he was there waiting for us and gave us information to help with our trip. Would definitely recommend this as a perfect base to explore Roma from and would stay here again anytime!
