My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Bed and Breakfast I Gatti di Roma which is tucked into a quiet little neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk to Rome's Termini Train Station. Maria, our hostess, waited up until midnight for us to get in because of travel delays and was more than considerate despite the inconvenience. She had breakfast ready for us bright and early every morning that we were there to help fuel us for the exhaustive travel days ahead. Overall, the rooms were nice, clean, and big, the service was special, and the neighborhood was safe and conveniently close to the city center for the price. If I ever visit Rome again, and the Trevi Fountain says we will, I would not hesitate to stay at I Gatti di Roma.

Our room was very clean, spacious, quiet, with all the amenities, and had a good wireless connection. Breakfast was continental, with coffee, juice, breads and spreads -- beautifully presented. The bathroom was shared with one other room, and also very clean. Definitely a sense of privacy from the main house. The owner was very helpful -- knew the bus system well, gave us clear directions on how to get to her place from the main bus terminal, as well as from her place to major sites. The only downside for us was that we wanted to be "in the middle of things," near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain area, and this was quite a ways from those areas. Otherwise, a wonderful place to be.

I had the sense we were at home... in Rome! Very clean, tasty, and cozy! In a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of restaurants! Moderately priced , too!

Every time I go to Roma, I stay in this BnB. The place is clean, quiet, very central and feels like home. Breakfast waits for you on a little trolley by your door. The owner, Sra Negrini, is a wonderful person: not only she is the best person for insider's tips, but she is also very kind and always ready to help. I have recommended her BnB to several friends who love the place and the owner! :-)
