We stayed at the Trasteveresuite B&B during the first week in June and it is was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Not located near any metro stops and is a block away from the nearest bus stop, so not the best location for quick access to the main sights. Rooms were furnished nicely and had a nice size bathroom, with a small refrigerator, private bedroom with sofa bed in entry area. Free wifi, one flight up, so we walked, but building does have an elevator. Breakfast was a coupon for a coffee and croissant down the street which we never used. Could not find a supermarket in the neighborhood, but did find a great restaurant with good prices "Da Vittorio, just at the end of the street on the right.

The location of this BB is great. The owner gave us his cell phone number and you just have to let him know when you are arriving and he will be waiting for you.

Rooms: The room was comfortable. There was free wi-fi. As for the breakfast, you get these coupons to go to a bakery around the corner. You'll get a hot drink and a pastry. I believe they will stop serving breakfast after 10am. Bathroom was not so great in our room however. The shower would leak and start to flood our bathroom. We told the owner but he said would not be able to take care of that issue within the few days we were there. We had to take short showers so our bathroom wouldn't flood. Besides that it was a good BB for it's price.

Situated in the heart of Trastevere. Rooms are fresh and seem newly refurbished, so is the bathroom. We called the owner from the airport, and he was there waiting for us when we arrived.

This is a small two-room flat more than a B&B. Rooms are cleaned every day. No breakfast room, you get coupons for a simple but good breakfast at the cafe round the corner, together with all the locals. Beats a breakfast room if you're there to experience Rome.
Trastevere has its own unique charm, but make sure this is the type of area you want - for us it was perfect. There's some traffic noise, but then it's hard to imagine rome without the Vespas. With lots of bars and restaurants, an interesting and alternative streetlife, Trastevere is an attraction in itself, and all the other major sights are well within walking distance.
Provided you don't need to have hotel staff at hand, or expect hotel services, this is excellent value for money.

We had a rough beginning to our stay. Our printout said that we could check-in after 12:00pm. When we got there, we rang the doorbell, but no one came. We had to go to a hotel down the street and they were kind enough to call the owner, who told them that we did not call and tell him that what time we were coming. There was not mention of this before we arrived. Piero emailed us the day prior, (I found out when I checked my email days later), but being from out of the country, we had no phone, and we were not checking our email as we were traveling the country weeks earlier. So we ended up standing outside of the apartment for about an 1.5 hours. Once we were inside, the rooms were very nice. However, there was no phone and no soap. Again, being tourists, we had no phone and no way to contact the owner, which is why I would not call this a Bed & Breakfast. If I knew that this was an apartment rental, I would not have set my expectations that high. After the first night, we used most of the towels and put them on the floor, like we do at all Hotels and B&B's as to indicate that they are dirty. When we got back, our dirty towels were simply put back on the racks. So we had no clean towels, and the ones we had were previously on the bathroom floor. They did give us vouchers for a cafe, (I guess that 's how they can call it a Bed & Breakfast) which gives you a drink and small pastry. One the good side, the price was good and the location was great. Trastevere was one of the highlights of our trip. The streets are filled with people and Roman life. We walked around the neighborhood all 4 nights of our stay.
