“Good hotel outside Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

The hotel has big rooms with enough facilities. The fourbeds room has two separate rooms, two tv, big refrigerator but nothing to make coffee or tea. Between 10 - 17 o'clock there is nowhere in the hotel to drink coffee because the bar is opening only after 5 o' clock in the afternoon. Breakfast was average and had only slices of white bread. The staff was friendly. Very close to the hotel there is a shop for sandwitches, coffees and restaurant. Close to the hotel there is a very good restaurant for stakes, La Pampa. Hotel disadvantage is that very close to it there is a big garage for busses that causes noise and dirty air full of gas. The metro station Rebibia is 5,2 km and you can visit everything in Rome by it. In half an hour you are in the central metro station, Termini.

“Good Rooms, Rude Staff, Too Far From Rome”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We stayed as a family of 3 in a family room which was huge. This was nice because my husband and I had our own private room. Nice large balcony. Free wi-fi worked great. The room appeared very clean, however, my daughter's white socks were completely black after walking around the room. The hotel was too far from Rome. It might be better if you have a car but we didn't. We spent about an hour each way to get into Rome. I hated wasting at least 2 hours per day in travel. On a final note, the manager was extremely rude to us. Upon check-in, we were told that our breakfast was included and given the hours and location, etc. I did not pay attention when booking the hotel as to whether is was or was not. Breakfast is a non-factor when booking a hotel for me. When we went to the breakfast room, we were told that it wasn't included. I mentioned that the person that checked us in the previous day indicated that it was. She then disappeared and came back with the manager. I explained to the manager what we were told at check-in. She pulled our reservation and told me that I should have known what reservation I had made (I didn't) and that there was no way the staff told me that our breakfast was included. She called me a liar in front of several groups of guests. I'm not upset about the breakfast issue, we went next door and had 3 caffes and 3 pastries for 6 euro, not a big deal. The issue was that I was called a liar and treated very rudly. For this reason alone, I would never return to this hotel.

“Nice room, bad location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

This hotel has a great sized room and bath, and the price was great, but the location was a little too far from Rome. We had rented a car so it was about 20 min downtown. Parking is not as bad as you would imagine because Romans seem to make up their own parking spots! Overall, we liked it and the staff was nice. Do it if you have a car but don't if you plan to take a bus or train. Also the bed was a little stiff.

“Excellent hotel, we didnt mind the 30 minute drive (and 20 min train) to the centre of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

We came to this hotel in our van, and the receptionist was more than welcoming, and he guided our van to the underground parking, next to the hotel and helped us to our rooms. The hotel was very comfortable, with three separate rooms, with one double bed, two singles, and a medium sized bathroom. The rooms were all very good sized and they all had TV. We also had air conditioning in each room, which wasn't broken, and was very cooling after the heat of the van. We went to sleep in comfort. Breakfast the next day was very nice with a fine selection of cakes, bread, croissants and also beverages. We had a very good breakfast. As we had a van, we didnt mind the 30 min drive to the centre of Rome, which wasnt very long. Unfortunately we had to go by train, so it took 50 mins to get to the centre of Rome.

“Very good hotel if you don't mind a 60 minute journey to central Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2011

Very clean and modern hotel.

Unfortunately our air conditioning wasn't working properly one night and there were a group of noisy students partying until about 4am. We complained to reception and negotiated a free breakfast after they had offered to move us to a different room.

To get to central room you need to take a bus (bus-stop located very near hotel) and then a metro which is a bit of an epic journey - but at least parking at the hotel is free and it saves you navigating the busy city with all your bags!

The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent.

Ironically I requested a 'room with a view' and laughed when we looked out of our window as we backed onto a busy bus depot (good sound-proofing though) - so not exactly the romantic view we had in mind but for the price this was a very good place.

Room Tip: Try the top floors for a quiet night sleep!
