“Good Location, Poor Hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

The location for this hotel is good, it's a short walk, or a short bus ride away from the Termini, and from there you can get to anywhere. Do not be fooled by the pictures of the rooms as ours was nothing like them, more like a prison cell, very cramped, with a double bed squeezed into a corner. The reception is on the 5th floor, and also doubles as as the breakfast room with only 4 tables, so a you can have a wait if you're a late riser. The lady who was on reception/breakfast duty is the female version of Basil Fawlty, she gave the impression that she wanted to be anywhere else other than where she was! Slamming cupboards, kicking boxes and then playing her music pretty loud!! The breakfast is pretty poor, croissant, revolting coffee and a stale bread roll. I would avoid this hotel, and I'm sure you'll find better options elsewhere.

“Great for the price!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2011

The room and bathroom were very very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful! They were even kind enough to hold on to my suitcase for a while before my stay, free of charge. The location is a bit out of the way (not walking distance to any attractions), but the bus stop is very close, and there's a subway stop for Line B just a 7-10 minute walk away (1 or 2 stops from termini, 3 stops from the Colosseum). Overall, this is a great place!

“Good priced bed & breakfast near the city centre.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

The area itself wouldn't have any attractions, at least we didn't see any. There was a little take away only a few meters away from the guesthouse. The subway that would bring you to termini central station in 5 mins is only 10 minutes away. We walked from termini bus station which was about 20 minutes to walk and not difficult to find. We had a room at the street side but we didn't hear any noise of traffic. But if so, hey, you are in the city centre of Rome so always expect some traffic. I certainly would recommend the place to friends or stay there the next time. Breakfast was normal, coffee, tea, orange juice, yoghurt, croissant, some cereals, fruit, is was all there. The staff were all friendly and helpfull. Rooms not very large but modern and clean.

Room Tip: Little take-away only a few yards away if you still feel hungry at night. The trevi fountain is a 30...

“Don't bother”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

Shower had to be held due to a broken holder, wc smelled, soap dispenser broken, breakfast was rubbish and there was no coffee. Very little sound proofing, I could hear neighbouring room (evening sneezing!) One of the staff was helpful others were indifferent.
Real pity as it's location is great.... when you find it.

“Good Budget Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

This is a no good budget hotel but location is bit difficult to find as there is no board outside hotel. Just to search by address. The location is great...just 100 meters from Porta Pia bus station. Take 36/90 bus from railway station. Staff if friendly and cooperative. The location is one thing which is really great positive. Its 1 KM walk from station otherwise.
