As we were making our reservations, the only things we had to go by were pictures and guest comments. We were very happy with the results. We paid to have a true italian meal prepared by Daniela on our first night. The food was great and we had enough for the next night. Dino was extremely accomodating. He offered to take us to the train station or pick us up whenever we needed it. The information they provide in the apartment is very helpful. I would definately recommend this apartment, We left Rome and went to Florence and Venice and neither of those apartments came close to the satisfaction we received here. To get downtown you can walk to the bus stop (7 min), take the bus to the metro station and take the metro downtown. It takes about 45 minutes total if you don't get a ride from Dino to the metro station. We were okay with the time.

This place is run by a genuinely lovely and accommodating couple who ensured that our stay was enjoyable and trouble free.

This was an excellent place to stay. It was out of the busy center of Rome yet it was easy to get too. The apartment was very nice and Dino and Daniela were great hostess's. They gave great transporation and helpful information. Next time I go to Rome, I'll definitley stay at the Chez Gabrielle!

This was a fabulous place to stay...
It's a one bedroom apartment complete with all you need (kitchen, bath, bed, couch, desk, chair, tv - you get the idea) and a huge patio. It's close to the downtown area of Rome without being among tourist all the time (which of course we were)...
The hosts speak English and are very sweet. There is a grocery store, a bank, a pastry shop and a bar all close by.
We highly recommend this rental.
