“Not horrible, but would look for another place if I had to do it again”

If you are coming from the train, the location of this B&B can't be beat. However, the neighborhood is a litte dodgy and this is very hard to find as there is no sign on the outside identifying the place. Once inside, the room was small, but sufficient. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was descent as that was our sole breakfast for the 3 morning we were there. The staff is very friendly and helpful when they are available. They are often away and unable to locate, but are very nice when you do approach them. I wouldn't give this B&B a bad review, but if I went to Rome again, I would look for another place to stay. I believe you can get a little better, in a better neighborhood for your money.

“Better than many hotels that I've stayed in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 August 2011

I stayed here for three nights in July 2011. It was very clean, comfortable, and charming. Everything in the room worked, including the all-important air-conditioning, which I hardly ever used. My room even had a terrace that opened out to the busy station, and it was great in the mornings to open my window and hear the bustle of Rome below me. The self-serve breakfast was also great, and the espresso machine very much appreciated. It was also really nice to have a TV in the room, I would often unwind at night to MTV Italia!

Luana was extremely accomodating and immediately helped me find my way around Rome. She also recommended a very tasty and authentic Roman restaurant nearby.

The B&B is also next door to a wonderful music and bookstore, and you can eat fantastic and cheap Indian food in the streets immediately surrounding the B&B.

The area around the station seems pretty dodgy, but--and I say this as a small Asian woman--I was never harassed and after the first night, I felt pretty safe here.

I would definitely come back on my next visit to Rome.

“Great B&B in Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2011

I was very satisfied with the condition and maintenance of this residence. The cleanliness and comfort of the room, the convenience of location, availability of stores, laundry, and access to the metro/train station makes this location ideal.

This Bed & Breakfastl is in a great location next to Termini Station. It puts you in walking distance of any train or bus you need to access Rome, other parts of Italy as well as the airport. There's also a mall inside the train station typical of most modern cities. There are various restaurants on the this street and if you just need to get you Chinese food fix, there's a great restaurant within two blocks. Did I mention free wifi coverage throughout the property? A small market is nearby for those few essentials and late night snacks, although the kitchen has its own supplies. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, coffee maker and frig with an adjacent dining area complete with LCD TV and a dining table that seats 8.

My room was on the fifth floor (via elevator), had wood floors, air, in room shower, a large bed (I'm approx. 6 feet), color LCD TV, private balcony, ingress/egress at will (you keep the key). Couldn't have asked for more.

The attractive owner was beyond hospitable, unpretentious and made you feel as if you were at home. My only regret is that I didn't find this little gold mine until I had already been in Rome for almost a week.

“Great, charming and friendly place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 April 2011

Located in the centre of Rome directly across the street from Termini station. This is a fantastic little place with about 8 rooms and has a clean fresh feel. The owner Louana is really nice and makes you feel at home, having a great balance of being friendly without being obtrusive and under your feet. Our room was clean and decorated with a modern Ikea feel, and had a little balcony overlooking the main street and the station. Breakfast was basic but nice and the home made cake that appeared in the dining room on the second morning was a great surprise. I'd definitely recommend this place if you've looking for a cheap great place in Rome. The only criticism is I'm a stickler for cleanliness and the bathroom could have done with a more thorough dusting but it certainly wasn't dirty.
