This is the second time I have stayed with Cristina Rooms. Last year I stayed at one of the sister hotels round the corner. Both times the rooms have been very clean and well serviced ( towels changed mid stay). Great location, only a couple of minutes from the station. The staff were helpful and provided some useful information about the area.

Be aware that the rooms are located on the fifth floor although there is a small lift. Good value for the location and access to the city. Unlike the other hotel, the breakfast is provided by a bar just down the street rather than served in the rooms.

Great little place to stay; I would recommend it and look forward to my next trip.

Positives: Rooms were clean, someone came to keep it tidy regularly. Was literally 5-10 minutes tops from Termini Station which was ideal. Was on the small side, but to be honest that wasn't an issue as we just used the rooms for sleep! Beds were comfortable aswell. Plus it was cheap, it was obviously no 5* hotel, but you cant expect more than the basics at the price we paid! Good wee breakfast at 'Roberto 2' (two mins from hostel) you get a wee coffee and get a choice of a pastry. Overall pleasant stay.
Negatives: Air-con didn't work. Television was broken. Staff were so-so, but that could be due to the fact we spoke little Italian and they spoke little English. However, there's no one about if you need anything. It didn't bother me, but it was loud and I mean REALLY LOUD if you keep your window open at night. Other than that, like I said..it was a pretty nice stay.

DO NOT STAY AT CRISTINA ROOMS IN ROME. My husband and I had the worst experience, one that nearly ruined our first night in Rome. I hope this negative review will prevent you from booking this awful place.

When we arrived I was horrified! The lobby smelled of urine and was flithy, not a little dirty, FILTHY! The carpets were visibly soiled and the wallS had smears of of who knows what.

We made our reservation online weeks in advance, but when we arrived were denied access. When asked why, my husband, who is middle eastern was called a "dirty animal" by the male front desk clerk and asked to leave.

Please, please do not give this disgusting place nor these disgusting bigots your business.

The private Room is big and clean. Big bed too, meant that there was no struggle for bed space between my girl and i.

Located is great close to the Termini station. Plenty of restaurants and shops around. Lighting is excellent. Good location to tour the rest of Rome.
