you will search the hotels in rome and see a variety of places that don't meet your needs....too expensive...poor location...not modern...no wifi. And then you will read the reviews of BBqueen and wonder if a small 3 room "bed and breakfast" can meet your needs. The answer is yes. The room is modern with flat screen tv and wifi, the bed comfortable, and the price is right. Sure, if you are looking for 5 star accomodation, this is not for you. Julia is a wonderful host but she does not have a full time staff. You get a key to the courtyard and room. The room and location were all I needed. Plus, I travelled by myself to Rome and while I booked a room for 2, Julia credited me the difference and only charged me for a single. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I will mention one drawback to the room. The walls are thin and the rooms/hallways echo. When everyone gets up for breakfast, you will hear it. If you are a light sleeper or like to sleep late, bring earplugs and a sound machine :)
