“The best place to stay in Rome!!!”

My neice and I spent a week in Rome and stayed in this wonderful bed & breakfast. The location was perfect as it is close to the colosseum and metro stop Cavour. Our host was so helpful and nice...the room was large with a great bathroom and we can't say enough about the use of the terrace. Every night we relaxed after our long days on the quiet terrace. We slept very well as the room is so comfortable and quiet. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

“Our best quality/price ratio for an ideal location in Roma (with terrace !)”

For our 3rd stay in Roma (this time our 40th wedding anniversary) this is far more the best place we stayed. It is the ideal location (Monti) for everything to do in Roma : 5 min walking distance to forum, lot of nice atmosphere little restaurants, fashion shops, artisans and 50m to metro entrance. The B§B (although at the 4th floor) offers great room and bathroom and a superb terrace (as duplex) where we took our breakfast every morning. Thanks to Anna welcome and advices we spent 5 magnificient days visiting other sites and palaces in Roma and environs as Villa d'Este. Would we come back in Roma (the soonest possible ...) we surely will stay again in Annaluce

“Excellent hosting and a delightful stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2010

Excellent location! Within one block there are two restaurants (with live accordion music in the evening), a gelato shop and a metro station. The Colosseum is visible from the end of the block and the entire Roman Forum is just a 5-10 minute walk away.
Anna was very accommodating and served a delightful breakfast on her rooftop "Hanging Garden". The room was very spacious with welcome air conditioning after a long warm/hot day. With free access to the roof and kitchen the entire available living space is over 150 m2.
The room is located on the 5th floor of a walk up, which can be tough at the end of a long day of walking, but worth the effort.
We drove to Rome in a new car and parked at long term parking at the airport, using a taxi and the metro to get to and from the city core. That way we did not need to worry about any damage that might occur on the streets. We knew of parking lots within the city (like at the train terminal) but using the airport kept us off the city streets completely. We used the metro to get around the city and found it easy to use and comfortable.
What a deal!

“Great host and awesome room!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2010

The room was beautiful and spacious. The garden on the roof has many different flowers and plants. I can't imagine what it would look like when they are all in bloom. When we were in need of a place to stay because of the Iceland Volcano, she provided us an extra night and when her place was unavailable, helped us find another place through a friend. Very helpful and spoke good English. Also, right next to the metro which made it extremely easy to get around. Definitely would recommend this place.

“Homy accomodation in the centre of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2009

We - two individuals - stayed for 5 nights at Annaluce Bed and Breakfast. We
had a very large comfortable room with a king-size bed, a big wardrobe and
our own bathroom. We could also use the magnificent rooftop terrace and the
kitchen.
Every morning there was a lovely Italian breakfast ready for us with coffee,
an excellent variety of tea, different cookies, a very delicious cake and
some fruit.
The room is neat and clean and there is everything you need. There is a very
homy athmosphere at Annaluce Bed and Breakfast, it is a lovely and soothing
place to be. Since it is an older building there is no elevator to the 4th
floor (or the other floors ;-). Another fact of the old building is, that the windows do not close propperly, so it can be a bit loud at nighttime. If you are sensitive to noise, take some earplugs with you.
The landlady was always very friendly and extremely helpful.
The B&B is located in the centre of Rome, situated next to the Metro-Station
Cavour, just one stop away from Stazione Termini. It is easy to reach, when
arriving and a very good spot to start your discovery tour of ancient Rome.
