“Really good value, clean, and very friendly staff”

This was a great value -- particularly for Rome.

The staff was very friendly. As a matter of fact, Filo offered to pick up flowers and wine ahead of our stay and have them ready when we arrived. I didn't ask for this, she was simply being a nice person!

The rooms are not luxurious, but they're clean and decorated in a nice, contemporary fashion. Also, our room was absolutely huge by European standards. The location is nearly unbeatable. It's walking distance to just about everything, Campo de' Fiori is bustling at night, and you could just about hit Trastevere with a rock from the B&B. We would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this as a good value option for sure.

“will definitely return there”

this is a B&B so don't expect anything else. having said that, breakfast included toast, yogurt, fresh croissants, coffee, orange juice, nutella & jams. when we needed to go out before breakfast was served, filomena told us to go to the caffe just outside the B&B, have anything we want and she'd pay for it. we only met filomena once for the simple reason that we usually left the B&B early and returned at around 6pm to have a shower and go out again. however, whenever we needed something, we just sent her an sms & she'd reply immediately. she also booked a taxi to come for us at 5am (which was very punctual) since our flight left rome early.

it might be a bit tricky to find this B&B, however, upon reaching termini station, take bus no 64 (be careful of pick-pocketers since this bus is always very full of people). Taking this bus from termini (well from the square close to termini station), either count nine stops, or to be on the safe side, try to embark to the front of the bus and ask the bus driver to indicate to you where to stop to reach campo de fiori. you'll stop in a square just outside campo de fiori, where you might want to ask for directions to reach campo de fiori.

upon reaching campo de fiori, show the address of the B&B to a florist since they would have deliveries. if you reach campo de fiori in the evening when the market is no longer there, look out either for the Guess store or for ruggieri salumeria, they're both in a corner. between them is via giubbonari. go through it and take the 2nd right, which is where arco del monte is. look out for number 97. as you walk in, you have some 72 steps to climb which can be difficult if you have a lot of luggage, however the rooms (at least the one we stayed in - the pink one) are spacious and are kept very clean. towels are changed daily. if you look for a table in the room, it's just beneath the window, ready to be pulled up.

the location is ideal because it is within walking distance of all major sights.

this B&B will be the first place to check for availability next time i decide to go to Rome.

“Convinently located & comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2010 via mobile

Located only minutes from Campo de Fiori, we found this B&B to be very comfortable. Being Late July, and mid summer, the split system air conditioning was a welcome relief when we returned from trecking 'Old Rome'.
We walked to St Peters and beyond, all around the historic centre and Trestevere. The closest Metro was Circo Maximus so a bit of a stroll but there was always bus 64 or 40 to connect us and just a block away if we chose to use this.
Yes ther are stairs, 72 I think and no lift - so be prepared. Without luggage there is no problem, consuder it a good workout.

Breakfast was substantial, juice, youghurt, cornetto, toast, spreads and of course coffee. My bed was the fold out couch type as we asked for a twin room. The main bed was a double. Both were comfortable.

The bathroom was clean and everything functioned well. Our room was serviced each of our 5 day stay.

In the same street, there is a supermarket, gellati store, a bar and a good restaurant (Avenue 94)
the laundromat is just around the corner.
Our stay was comfortable, the only minor issue was that we were informed breakfast was from 8:30 but the lady was not consistent, arriving at 9:10 one morning.

Everything considered, I would stay at this B&B again.

“Great Location, Clean no But no extras”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

Had a six night stay at the In and Out in May 2010. The location is wonderful right in the middle of old town Rome within walking distance to everything. Need to take a cab from train station too far with luggage. The place is up three flights of stairs and is very clean and upgraded. Not a true B and B as no one actually lives there, there are four rooms with bathrooms and they give you breakfast but on your own the rest of the time. The staff seem indifferent to the guests and give minamal information on Rome. But the location and cleanliness out scored the other issues with this B and B. The green room (where we stayed) has no outside window so no light and the worst shower in europe, so book one of the other rooms.
