Leonardo is a wonderful host. We called ahead 2 days early to confirm our reservation (spoke to his daughter) we told the B&B what day and time our flight arrived into Rome. We were offered a lift and Leonardo was there at the airport to pick us up. He doesn't speak any English but why should he; he is Italian! Leonardo made us coffee for breakfast and laid out a nice selection of pastries. Using my Italian phrase book we managed to understand as he explained how he made the coffee in a tradition Italian style. The B&B is only 1 underground stop from central Rome. Central Rome can be so chaotic at night that was a bit of a relief to head back to a quieter district after dinner!
