“Our Roman Apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

This place is perfect for people traveling on a budget in their twenties- which we were! While the place is staffed for a short time during the day, they are very helpful and there is a wonderful aromatic smell whenever you walk in. We mainly used the apartment as home-base, to sleep, shower and relax. It is just up the street from St. Peter's square, the metro and a bus station. While the traffic outside can be a bit noisy, if you've been walking around and site seeing hard all day, you won't even notice. One thing to note to travelers is you'll need to bring your own alarm clock. Tickets for cappuccinos and croissants around the corner were given- a great cafe. There is minimal nightlife around this area, but it is a short bus ride/15-20 minute walk to the Trastevere district. Pamela, Leonardo and Valentina were great to us during our 6 night stay. Thank you!!! I would definitely recommend this location to others.

“Well placed little gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

I really liked this small and quaint property. My husband is very picky and has trouble sleeping, but he had a good night's sleep and liked the ambiance and the services provided. Valentina at the front desk even helped us send a fax that we needed to send last minute. Before our arrival, we received an email from Leonardo, the owner, offering to have transfers arranged for us. We ended up not emailing back in time and thus had to find our own transportation upon arrival. We went throught alot of hassle at the airport, with some taxi drivers quoting us obscene amounts because, as tourists, they thought we would believe anything they said. A city taxi quoted us the same amount as what had been provided to us in the email, so, the transfer price that was quoted to us was very reasonable and would have been worth avoiding the peddling taxi drivers upon arrival!!! We were only there for one night because we were actually headed out to the port of Civitavecchia to catch a cruise and they also helped us get transport onwards. While there only one night, we really liked the freedom of coming and coming. We had our own keys for several doors that would get us through to this very unassuming location and it is very centrally located. If I am ever back in Rome, I will definitely stop by again.

“Excellent B&B, Great location, friendly hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2011

Excellent hotel next to the Vatican, Metro stations, Tram and Busses with connection to all touristic places in Rome. It is about 3-4 minutes from the Vatican.
The hotel is more like an apartment. It is inside a building, and you have to use the elevator or the stairs, but we loved the environment, we consider it was a better experience than a normal hotel.
We had a room in the corner of the building with two windows (one on each street) and the view was fabulous.
The reception area is only manned from 8am to around 2pm. So if you are arriving outside of these hours, you have to make advance arrangements for someone to let you in.
The staff was great and very helpful specially Leonardo, he is a great person.
The parking garage is two blocks away and it cost us 20 euro/day.
The Rooms where comfortable, big and clean. They offer free Coffee, Tea and Croisants inside the Room.
The breakfast is just a coffee and a croissant across the street, but it was OK.
There are lots of restaurants, and shops near the hotel. For a Gelatto we recommend the one across the street at Ice Blue.

“Comfort with IKEA furniture”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2011

The location of the hotel next to the Vatican and a Metro station are excellent and the staff is very helpful.
This is not really a hotel, more like apartments since the front desk is not available 24h and you have to open and shout 3 doors plus your room door to get in and out. The rooms are not too small and bright, but very clairaudient, you can hear noise from the corridor as well as from the streets.
Cheap IKEA furniture and poor quality beds do not really cope with the name "comfort suites".
The "breakfast" is very poor - you just get a voucher for a café next door worth a cappuccino + croissant, any changes like tea cost extra.
Since one can find a proper 4* hotel in Rome for the same price, I would not recommend this "hotel".

“Very good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2010

The Hotel was very nice, with very good connections with the Metro,Tram and Busses. Its about 3-4 minutes from the Vatican. The Staff was great, helpfull and always with a smile ! The Rooms where comfortable, big and clean. They offer free Coffee, Tea and Croisants inside the Room. Also outside the Rooms, there is an special coffee machine where you can have a very cheap coffee. The hotel is inside an building and ist very charming to use the old elevator or the stairs, we like it very much! Around the streets there are many shops and of course food. The best pizza was at the Restaurant "Raf", .about 10 minutes from there, you have to try it! Also a very good restaurant was zigateana at via cola di rienzo 263. For Ice cream , my favorit was exactly across the street at Ice Blue! So back to the Hotel, the Bathroom was big and clean, with hot water always, they had everyday soaps, shampoo/shower gel and body lotion there.
The owner-Leonardo- offers a very good service, for 35 euros you can get a shuttle service from the airport, also for another 35 back to the airport. Its a very good service because if you take the train from the airport you have to pay per person 14 euros for the train and 1 euro for the metro, so if you are 2 persons its 30 Euros + the trouble by moving with the train. If you stay longer then 4-5 days, take an weekly card for the metro, so you dont have to buy always tickets. WIFI was working very well and very fast!!!

As some others here, ok the breakfast was just an Croisant with an coffee, they give as some coupons for everyday, for 2 shops almost next to the building. So if you are a "breakfast fan" sure its not the best, but in Italy you can eat every minute everyway around. The other thing is that sometimes the towels was smelling not so fresh but there where always clean!
