I stayed at this hotel with my wife over New Years in December 2010 and found it to be quite good. Don't expect a luxury pad or anything but what you will find is a decent but slightly aging living room with a small kitchen, comfortable modernish bedroom and a great modern bathroom/shower.
The best feature of this place is its location. It is a 2 minute walk to the famous Via Veneto with its glamourous Harry's Bar and a host of other first class hotels and restaurants. The metro station is a 10 minute walk.
There is also a massive supermarket through the underpass near Harry's Bar (about 10 minutes walk from the flat) where you can get some of the famous Italian cold cuts, spumantes and other breakfast items. Cooking a whole meal would be a little tough but you could swing a quick pasta.
Also, you must go to a restaurant called San Marco in the area... just too good for words!
The apartment is also smoker-friendly which is great in Europe and the receptionist downstairs minds his own business, which is great cause i'm not fussy and I don't like nosey!
The apartment block is full of people who own thier flats and 103 is the only rental. We found them to mind their own business too. The place is very secure though, cause there is always a receptionist on duty.
The bad:
None of the TV's work... no idea why! Tried and tried but no chance. I ended up hooking up my laptop up to the stereo which worked fine for music. There is one speaker in the living room and the other in the bathroom through the ceiling! Hilarious!
