“A wonderful place where to stay at!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

I came to Rome, to visit my Aunt but she couldn't afford to let me sleep at her's 'cause she's not doing well at the moment.
I arrived with my mother and my litlle LauraMaria who is 4 years old and very shy. She has never been abroad. At the B&B Alchimia I found a pleasant family like environment where everyone was very warm and friendly. The rooms are very cleen and they got everything you need. I could even choose for a personalized breakfast! And also, the place is very close to downtown and the rates are the most affordable ones in the city of Rome. Wi-Fi connection works very well and TV set and climatization are excellent!
Isabella: my sister with her husband in March are coming to Rome, and according to what my experience with you has been, she definitely wants to sleep at your place. Kisses, Olivia!

“Alchimia B&B is perfect.”

The B&B has large clean rooms, cozy breakfast area, very friendly and courteous management, and easy access by public transport to the center of Rome. The area around the B&B has an atmosphere of tranquility with lots of greenery, charming small restaurants, quiet streets, and less traffic. Experience local Italian life with few tourists. Ideal for peace and quiet away from the center of Rome, but within a half hour from everything inside the city walls of Rome.

Dear Fellow Travelers,
I'm writing this review to tell you that Alchimia B&B is the perfect place for comfortable, well-priced, friendly, well-located place to stay in the Eternal City. This B&B is clean and very well-run. Isabella and Antonio bent over backwards to make sure my friend and I were comfortable and happy with our stay. The kitchen is community style and well-equipped for those times that you just want to relax and not go find a restaurant or start your day off with a good espresso. Though the location isn't smack downtown there is bus service right outside the front door that can have you in the city center in minutes (including a metro stop). Isabella also provided a map with the bus routes our first day which made it even easier. The "off-the-beaten-path" location proved to be much more comfortable as it was quieter at night when all we wanted to do was sleep after touring all day and the people in the area are very friendly as it isn't tourist central. The rooms were clean and comfortable (we stayed in the blue room) and the showers were hot and refreshing. Long story short of it is this is a great spot and those looking to get the most bang for their buck have found the right place in Alchimia Bed and Breakfast! Really these people took great care of us and made our stay in Rome all that much more memorable. Thank you Isabella and Antonio!!!!

“Excelent !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2009

The B&B is very good. The room is clean and the owner is helpful and kind. It is possible to get the centre of Rome by taking a bus (in front of the B&B). It was beyond my expectations !!!
